The doubling or more will be on successful extraction of tungsten ore concentrate in my opinion as that validates the operational position for a go forward. The funding will move the dial a bit but the operational success in the next 6-9 months is the key.

Cant state 6-10 wells guidance if there is no guidance as the company will be bought after the 3 month trial with current offtaker. Cant state that either! so they do need to keep cards close to the chest

News MTL have a prospect in north luzon called Abra and it appears to be full on porphyr deposits and could be enormous BUT they are unable to drill as cannot get consents from local parties etc. If they do i think could be a massive tier 1 asset but alot of IFs.

If DFS is out tomorrow then not much in the way of SP movement or volume today.....

For those not aware this is an aussie company that has a large copper-gold play in northern Luzon and has been given approval to continue drilling. Lets hope that MTL get this luck with abra.

News thanks for that and was not aware we had that investment although not overly impressed with Phillipines at the moment for mining where everything is being blocked it seems from mining development on Luzon.

Speedy yes some banks are buying but there is the russians that have sold off alot of there foreign reserves this year and Turkey also selling off. India and Malaysia have now put import tariffs on gold so there are a few head winds as well to gold and why in my opinion we have seen a sustained sell off over the past 3 months and not purely because of the iran war and the SoH closure.

The current gold price is still circa 6100 aud and a nearly 4000 aud operating margin which allows for justification on the current SP from a FCF perspective for GGP. The key will be the guidance given by GGP for 27 FY. If they come back with a 310-330k oz range i dont think the markets will like that as they want to see growth in production and effectively bottom line.

Tungsteninvestor exactly it is cheap based on the 2250 mtu used to get to them ($3000 currently) and low AISC relative to the 3300 tones output in year 2. Year 1 is targeting 2500 tonnes and still great profits to be had.

I think the market is yet to believe that a mine in Devon can actually work and make that sort of money like a US, canadian or australian mining operation. Now for the company to operationally deliver once finance finalised. If they do we are looking at a multiple of current market cap based on earnings and what the chinese decide to do with Tungsten price as it has been effectively moved upwards by the chinese nearly 10 fold in 18 months.

In my opinion the chinese will hold the price as in there interests too and the next 6-12 months of getting to first concentrate is where the win or lose on Tungsten west will be. I am backing success but maybe not at the low level AISC currently being given and hence a flow onto that FCF in below post. Still good money to be made though.

Only way i can see a further placing is delay in financing or the original scoped capex and "to get to operational" readiness it costs a bit more. What we dont know is whether the facility will actually be $10m but with a draw down to $7m only with only lender approval above this level as the lender is not wanting the risk of a 90% complete project with no way of payback on the $7m spent.

I am quite the opposite - the more coverage the more investor exposure and more likely funds will have a sniff and thus help SP or diminish SP if news is not good.

FCF post tax of £300m a year and we have a market cap of £488m - market does not believe something as we are close to funding , starting production in less than 12 months OR we go up 4-5 fold in next 18 months ?? What are people’s thoughts ?

Hi for those more knowledgeable about this. How much capex is required in the US or UK to create additional capacity for coating the tungsten and are we limited revenue/EBITDA wise until that capex for additional booths is spent?
