Ok, so one thing I haven't got my head around is why Indo Sino would give Cadence a look in for 27%, or even 49%, of the Amapa asset when they could have taken the whole pie.... are Cadence that important that they absolutely needed them?

Certainly looks good returns for the risks and favourable in that regard…. And agree that there is an attractive portfolio of assets for chicken feed for a big player…. A big player would realise instant upside as the assets would be less discounted on their books as the risks would be lower and realisable value sooner.

I haven’t seen much discussion about risks of this transformational stage. I noticed that local people living along the rail line and rehousing is one step, may present challenges? If there’s a recession or China stays in the doldrums then iron ore prices could drop, or CAPEX is much higher cost due to inflation. Bigger business brings new challenges and bigger risks… thoughts on risks; probably more long term than short…?

Kicking myself for not topping up at 24.50… two minds about doing it now as the sp starts to run. Thoughts?

Yeah maybe if it’s been rejected then it’s not financially material because they are not forecasting for the uk to be a relevant market so they don’t need to RNS… but because they might be selling fine outside the uk they don’t want to bring attention to it

What I find astounding is that I would have expected it would be a fairly small fraternity at the top of British Medical Science and academia. They must surely be part of the same professional bodies and attend similar conferences, have similar qualifications from selected universities & work within the same system. Affirmers were developed in a university were they not? You’d expect Tim Peto to be well networked within industry, to be someone with a passion for British technology and an advocate. He sounds isolated and disconnected. It seems like there should be more of a select committee from across industry, academia & government working for the best outcomes for this country and to end the pandemic.
