Was going to sell at 20p, missed that and now have accepted I may lose the lot. I would like Saga to put out an RNS stating that they can get through this by relying on the insurance income, delaying ship 2 and the river cruiser (FFS) and scrap the dividend using the money to survive / buying opportunities once the dust settles.

I've been in this from the start and averaged down (foolishly) over the last year. I'm bailing if it breaches 20p - can't take it any more.........

I think the drop is, 70%, that Brexit is now a reality with all the unknowns that brings and 30% because we've re-elected a proven bank-bashing govt who can't wait to redistribute any wealth that LLOY may make. BTW - I'm invested here and am really disappointed following the surge to mid 60's last month. I really though we'd be on our way to the 70's and beyond....

Day traders bundled in yesterday and scarpered today with a healthy 5% - who can blame them? Need to take a longer view - still nearly 30% upside since early October.

I 'm really impressed with the efforts of WMH to diversify beyond the UK. True, they lost a shed load in Aus but they appear to have learned a lesson or 2. I think the current SP could double with the next 2-3 years. GLA

Insurance sector also double down today which may explain a little (in addition to being utterly Trumped).

Looking through SAGA RNS's, we had a trading update last January. I hope they do another soon because we need a little kick upwards.................

From what I read their developments are forward sold which presumably would include liabilities such as cladding (if present).

Thanks Moniman - what is the current dividend cover ?

Div cover just 1.3 last year and falling. This would imply an impending divi cut unless profits increase significantly. I assume latter is factored into current SP. I'm looking to invest here next month. GLA

Interesting pattern over last 2 days with lots of chunky £10K buys offset by higher volume of smaller sells. Looks like SP being suppressed to fill these orders. Once the small profit takers are out I think the SP will move rapidly north, hopefully above 60p.
In a month or so I think the 50's will be like the 40's are now - a memory.....

I'm not very clever in these matters so please correct me if wrong. Family owned shares have been placed at 210 so depressing SP today. There are more shares in circulation but not in the company as a whole. Family will get less dividend but gain from the 90% SP growth since float i.e big chunk of money.
