Talking of Toyota, see ITM have sold a system to Toyota Australia. This I think is the first ever sale to an auto OEM. They must have made a good impression filling up the Mirai car from their network of hydrogen stations in the UK. Like it!
No worries, there is so much going on, as government’s and industry start to realise that to decarbonise we need to address molecular energy, not just electricity. Electricity forms a small fragment in energy use, so to meet Paris targets and for deep decarbonisation electrolysis will be central. Happy days!
Do your research!
Yes it is an ITM station the first one for FC buses in France

This is a big report that really shows the potential for ITM. V encouraged https://www.fch.europa.eu/news/hydrogen-roadmap-europe-sustainable-pathway-european-energy-transition

Another good one, about Power to Gas https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2451910318302199
Alliance are a big investor in ITM https://about.bnef.com/blog/new-industries-can-feast-volatile-wind-solar-qa/
I’m 99% sure it’s Quilter Cheviot still unloading, after a number of fund managers who supported ITM left. So not worried at all long term.
Those 4 sales made at a v good strategic time. ITM are onBoD of Hydrogen Australia https://www.gasworld.com/hma-receives-1bn-hydrogen-commitment-/2016366.article Nice!
2005 for me, many sharp knives, but if you look now at where they are then its v exciting
1. They are global leaders in rapid repsonse electrolysis (PEM type)
2. Building the world’s largest rapid response electrolyser (10MW) for SHELL in their Rhineland refinery. You have to be pretty special to be allowed to integrate your technology into one of the largest refineries in Europe. This means they are also learning the perotrochemical way of installing, knowledge know-how etc.. really key if you want to sell into this market and scale up!
3. They own and operate a network of 7 hydrogen refuelling stations, including a number on Shell forecourts. Again think about the knowledge learning and experience and reputation, they sell fuel to the Met Police, Green Tomato cars, Toyota, Hyundai and 17 other fleets.
4. Power to Gas - pioneers scale from Shell experience will be key.. look at all the work with Northern Gas Networks, Cadent, 100MW Feasibility Runcorn... that’s one hell of a scale & market scale
5. Moving into new factory, again bloody exciting, economies of scale, standardised large systems, large power supply will enable very large scale products to be built.. moving into it this year
6. Brand, reputation
7. New geographic markets. Of course early reference products in Australia will be on small scale, cant wait to find out who they have sold to! Massive potential market for large scale, great they have foot in door now.
8. Partners, Shell, Toyota, RWE, Sumitomo (massive financing facility and representative in Japan, one can only sell in Japan if you have a local partner)
9. Germany- almost forgot expansion news recently, support for existing sales and again key for winning orders in the EU
10. N America USA & Canada 300MW Feasibility projects, hydrogen stations, power to gas Massachusetts
For me the Shell 10MW refinery project is key. This is the platform to scale up to 100MW and beyond.
It’s ironic that the company has never been in such a good position, but its share price is so low. I heard Quilter Cheviott were reducing their holding due to a number of staff exits... its my impression that they have been selling into good news. Hopefully they will be done soon and SP will advance.
Summary, this is exciting and what we are seeing is a transformation to big time, Oh and they have cash.
A sitting duck, at this price
