There are plenty of positives to be taken from the presentation along with a few negatives. It's amusing how private investors number crunch future share values whilst also developing speculative scenarios based on a set of notional factors.

The current situation is quite fluid and uncertain and we are very much in the hands of the next few RNS's. Nothing else really counts until the oil comes out of the ground and if we are honest we still don't have a true handle on the political game that is being played out.

MB needs to release an RNS ahead of the presentation otherwise he is simply ticking the public relations box.

Yep. I've had 22k invested for almost 7 years could do with a decent RNS to confirm operations are starting to happen and oil will flow. When it does still a good ROI and a result for IRR if it goes to 12p

Hi Invester33. There is always the other type of investor who will buy at a low price (4p) and will quite happily sit there until the share price achieves a significant upward movement, it may take 7 yrs or more but this type of investor doesn't or can't be bothered to work the money market as they have other things to enjoy rather than stress about the money. Although when the upward movement does takes place and the share achieve a value of 12p then in terms of internal rates of return this will be one of the best ROI for just simply doing very little in terms of financial management. Just a thought that there are various reasons why people buy into PetroMatad.... :)

Agreed Dozzawba. Yes WOS keep the information flow coming, it helps the new investor make informed decisions whilst also safeguarding the existing inventors from false negative information.

Stas20. The overview that you have provided is reasonable and you have raised many valid scenarios. I would just add that Petro China has spare capacity in it's oil refining process as their side of the oil is starting to dry up. I believe that PC have made an offer to PetroMatad on the basis the they need to adsorb this spare capacity cost by sourcing oil from Petro M. I also understand that DQE made the approach to PetroMatad on the basis they will finance the expansion of the oil field for a fixed % return over the life of the oil field. As you say these factors will emerge at some point. It's just one step at a time on a daily basis. I'm very lucky, my investments allowed me to retire at 53 yrs of age and 9 years later I can still play golf, swim, fly planes and fish. My investment in PM is only £22k and I am quite content to let this gamble play out. Have a lovely day and many thanks for the overview you have provide.

I have been here for seven years with my share average running at 4p and 550,000 shares. Looking back to 2011 the shares hit a value of £1.98 with a mkt cap value of £46.57m and approximately 277m shares in issue. Today we have 898.76m shares in issue, we have oil, we have significant growth opportunities within the green energy sector and we also have new blocks available in future years that on the other side of the border the Chinese are extracting oil - similar situation to Heron plus the oil refinery. So whilst shares have diluted the market and growth opportunities have also increased substantially.

Yesterday, when playing golf, I had a Heron fly within 10 meters of where I was standing. I said to my mate that the final sign has been given and good news will arrive this week. Always said this was the year of the Heron...............................

Thanks WOS. The AGM has certainly helped to clear up many outstanding questions whilst outlining the complicated and weak machine bureaucracy that exists within the Mongolian Govt. This is the year of the Heron and oil will flow. Prof and BP have every right to express their own views on how the market will play out. They certainly bring along a high degree of amusement from their special qualities and ability to thinking outside of the box. Well to both of them.
