16bcf is far too small to do anything with...it needs more.

about the 1bn bls on this BB - rather too childish to comment on previously.. 1bn has been stated by TC. however i think it was in relation to a pdl "hub" (fpso) not a scott subsea tie back. given the current EV (mcap minus cash) it matters not one jot today if it is 40M bls via tieback or 1B bls via fpso (or whatever the figure one puts on it!). in my view our return as shareholders is all about moving into production and hence cash flow and as required debt for cap ex (or farm down). i do find the wos move interesting. pmg have been building the equity in PDL area and are now doing the same WoS. In both cases its been about using the downturn to build equity to the point of control and ability to farm down while retaining control and / or influence. some cash has been used - but not a fat lot in real oily terms.

i am sure you have read my comments on that one on the BB. i am "in contact" with the situation shall we say....

you missed be being very generous to tro..let him buy my amer profit shares on which he has now made money...(aka I sold at the wrong time!). anyone would think tro's been doing this for ages... oilys interesting currently with a pull back in equity values today, but little move on the spot or forward oil prices despite the us stock build.

i recall issengard posted about bailing out earlier this year (in the 40's if i recall correctly) as pmg had quietly given up licences and he did not like that..looks like TC had a game plan all along.

looks like we have: 205/12 (davaar) back but now with 100% (204M bls p50 prospective, at 18% COS) - i assume the 3D reprocess is to increase this. so p50 prospective Wos would be some 500M bls..needs the drill bit turned to find out. interesting pmg gave up this acreage previously to then come back to take 100%. 30/various. this is skerryvore which we had a slice of before but partners who could not progress. looks like partners who could now! not sure what 30/19C? 47/10d is blackadder (i think that was a parkmead block before) looks to me like pmg have dropped blocks and then come back with higher %'s / partners who can co-fund work..

We could debate some of those numbers. But that is not the point- look at the ev difference. Then take a view on the chance of sl going ahead, noting dev carry for cap ex..
