The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Biggest buy i've ever seen for Eqtec, shows how silly these levels are. However, whilst these levels are ridiculous, they are unfortunately reality.
We need revenue or funding ASAP. Although, we are in a far healthier position that the last time we were at .50s.
Yes, in time i think it will. But RNS stating we have signed agreements to explore opportunities or forged partnerships will not be the catalyst.
Eqtec will re-rate only when we star to receive revenues from signed contracts... as of close of play today, this is yet to happen - hence the Static SP. Give it time and be patient
I have never ramped this share - those that have are incredibly annoying and in the same boat as the derampers such as yourself. Now you are quite correct that buying/selling on the drops/spikes is a good opportunity for this stock. But you are wrong when you disregard all the good news such as a signed contract, parternship w/ Cobra and MOUs.
Not sure what price placing would be, however, I think now is a good top up time. The likelihood is that IF we do see a placing then Ian will want the SP higher than .80 - So we will probably see an MOU, contract or strategic alliance announced before any pricing.
You could buy in now and sell on the spike. Then buy more IF we do place.
Those worried about how Eqtec would fund such a huge project should look towards Cobra. Do you think Cobra would sign an agreement with Eqtec (their strategic partner) if they didnt think the project would be fully funded.
I really cant stress enough the importance of Cobra's involvement.
Good work Smith. Also worth noting that the immediate effect on the SP isnt the real value of these MOU's/alliances/contracts -the real value is when EQTEC announce huge rises to revenue and profit in their accounts.
Only then will shareholders value be truly realised.
Another valuable project from the pipeline. Just adds to the overall positive trend of growing pipeline -> MOU -> Contracts
Fully expect this to follow Phoenix from MOU to contract.
Also worth remembering their will be a second Phoenix deal soon.
2019 is going to be a good year.
Forget the 200,000 metric tons. Don't worry about the 150m-180m figures.
The single most important word in that RNS is COBRA. It is one thing having a strategic alliance, we have had this for a while now. An MOU shows that a multi-BILLION $$ organisation trust Eqtec technology and want to work with us. This sort of deal is just the norm with COBRA. With their expertise and reach, combined with our technology, we could all be about to make a sh8t ton of money, Buy & Hold!
Find it amusing that the rampers have gone yet the critics remain even after all this time. People dont tend to track stocks for no reason. People are only regularly checking the Eqt page for 1 of 3 reasons.
1) They have invested
2) They have shorted
3) They are considering doing either of the above
Im a LTH and if this does hit .75 will be tempted to top up. For those that are currently down, dont panic. This will hit 1.8/2p in the next 12 months (even if it drops again, you'll have your chance to make money).
Not a game changed but good to see that word: INVOICED. That means real revenues which is the only thing that will take SP to a 3p,4p,5p like people have discussed.
Hopefully more contract news soon followed by further invoices and revenue to take us beyond 2p.
That's an extremely good return from a period which, aside from the past 6/8 months has seen pretty consistent growth.
I can how there has been a trading opportunity recently but I do expect that to change in the near-term as we see a more steady SP.
I wouldn't consider dumping any stock anytime soon at these levels - unless of course you have a need for cash.
Likelihood is the SP isnt going any lower than the £28-£32 range for some time. We will find a level (my guess is £29) at which we will hover for a month or two before a slow climb back up to previous highs due to growth in the USA.
Good time to be a holder.
