So what made you change your mind from the mindless "Good news I reckon you've got me here at least another 18 months banging the good ship steady as you go black horse drum" you wrote only 4 months ago?

Obviously somebody with your limited grasp of English (is it your first language?) may not understand my point that FTSE100 stocks can and do sink, even if most clearly don't. Lloyd's has not been a good investment for most these past 15 years, or 1 year, and nor has Centrica. A sensibly balanced portfolio means that most investors won't suffer too much if one or both go down when they have others going up. Endlessly semi-literally chanting "I reckon we see 180p to 200p in 2018" will not make it happen.

"noisy crowd" - this from somebody who spent years chanting "keep the faith in the black horse [Lloyd's]" - "80p next month for sure" etc etc etc I've got some Lloyd's shares from 2010 and they are more valuable than when I bought them, and paying a decent divi, but they're far from my best investment. And I'm glad I sold out of Centrica last year, having held for most of the last 30 years at very pleasant profits and divis. But I don't think I'll be buying back in yet.

"FTSE 100 stocks come back in the end , it's how we make money" - er, like Railtrack, Capita, Carillion, British Steel, EMI, Eurotunnel, Ferranti, Hawker Siddley, Maxwell Communications, Northern Rock, Polly Peck etc etc etc. A good memory is a useful thing for investors.
