Relatively bullish prelims in the circumstances. With strong cash reserves and unspent borrowing facility should be able to weather the next few months until revenue returns to pre-covid levels. If the "pent-up demand" translates into fcf, then things could be even rosier. Wondering whether to dip in for a few more (current average is a bit under £4, so reasonable profit atm).

Not bad, a year to the day after I made my largest purchase of these shares, at £13.58.

Done very well out of Zoetis since they were spun out of Pfizer 6 or 7 years ago, up something like 500%. Added another 15% to my holding at $150, down from recent high of $175. Well run company with very high profit margins - low divi but huge growth potential.

Topped up my (very) long term holding with a few extra from recent divis received. Only an extra 3% of my holding. Not expecting fireworks, but steady increases in divis and share price over the years have made this one of my more reliably profitable (and, now, 3rd largest) holdings. Long may it continue.

The quarterly review of the components of the FTSE is today and MRW is currently in 111th position, meaning automatic expulsion from the index if it's still there at today's close. Which will mean trackers etc will no longer have to own MRW. Usually seems to make less difference than might be expected.

Me too, ploughed my sd back in so now have the same number of shares (+/-) as before Feb. Assuming final divi will be significantly higher than last year - in theory if last year's level (total dividend payments) is maintained, we should get a final divi of 8.23p in July (last year's 6.5p ÷15*19). Total for the year, not counting the special, of 11.4p, a very decent return on sp of ~£2.30. Anything over 7.5 now and 3.7p next interim will be quite good.

Decent final results more than offset covid woes and costs in the first half. To £30 and beyond.

Sold a fifth of my (now very overweight) Segro holding and picked up 21k of these at £1.07, decent ~5% income, strong nav, decent prospects for growth (I hope). All safely tucked up in the ISA.

Final plus special divi $4.12, profits massively up, debt down, yes please.

Cut my long term holding back by 20% - at nearly 10% of my wife and my combined ISAs, it was a bit too big, and other opportunities to push income up a bit. Held since 2014, so no complaints in capital gains terms.

AAL made 6billion profit in ye18 and 19, probably significantly more in 20, what with iron at $160/t etc. Assuming Woodsmith starts producing next year and hits full production in say 2024-5, the first few years will pay off the extra debt, and thereafter it may produce a profit of ~£500m-£1b per year - a useful but hardly transformational addition to the company's total profit.

AAL share price continues to rise - now nudging £26, roughly double when the SXX takeover went through

Stuck down my forthcoming 51p divi into TSC shares, so planning to have the same weighting on 25 Feb as today. Complicated by buying cum div so every share I buy today gets me the 51p divi, but don't mind if I end up with a slightly higher total than before.

Luckily all my TSCs are in my ISA and my SIPP, so no tax implications.

Half year results even better than expected. Adjusted profit up 3x, adjusted earnings up 4x, statutory profit up 6x, statutory earnings up 7x. Divi back at 14p (covered by earnings 4-6x). Cash in hand £186m, up 55% in six months.

With marcap nudging £5b it won't take much of a rise (eg on good results tomorrow) to push us into the FTSE 100, meaning trackers etc will have to buy in. Been a while coming: we were ~125 about 3 years ago.

We lost money on Sirius. It happens. Nobody cheated us, we just backed a company that over-stretched itself and had to let the grown ups take over.

I put most of my 5.5p per share into AAL and much of this year's ISA sub, on the grounds that I think Woodsmith's a good project and could make money, and AAL is a big and profitable company that will probably make more money. And, thanks to the collapse in markets because of Covid, by the time I got my SXX 5.5p last spring, AAL was heavily down, so I got most of my stake for ~£13.50. With AAL now at £25, I've wiped out over £14000 of my £20000 loss on SXX, not counting a couple of decent divis.

Move on, for goodness sake.

Sold 10% of my stake at £9.05, originally bought at £1.80ish 5 years ago. Using up about half of this year's CGT exemption. Will probably do another tranche in late March as suspect CGT for next year will rocket in the budget.

I'm not planning to sell anytime soon. In fact I may top up yet again when my uu and gsk divis come in over the next couple of weeks

Yup, picked up a few more for my ISA, only an extra 2% of my holding, but all the income that's available this month. Hoping for a £1.10 divi in May with cover over 2x.
