It's a funny old thing, AIM. Very conservative valuation of the business places the MCAP 20% higher than it is today, and that's before the Tailings added a probable £1M and today's RNS about the Andromeda extension adding a 20-30% to the San Celso deposits. Neither of them major news, but all build to add value. If UFO wasn't already my biggest holding, I'd be adding right now.

Just speculating, but isn't it standard practice to apply an 80% discount to likely share value during early exploration phase ? Seems coincidental that this leaves a 20% gap such as that applied to HE1's chances. As I understand it also, it's not a binary thing or there is/is-not helium. It's more a question of whether it's in the volume and quality expected, and if it's easy to pipe out, or if it's buried under 100m of tungsten carbide infused with diamonds and protected by sharks with lava for blood. My goodness if I'm wrong then do correct me.

I just assumed with confirmation coming on Monday evening about shops fully reopening, that more buyers would look to load up today in advance of Tuesday morning's market reaction.

Only my opinion, Boyzer, but I think we'll see solid foundations in April in anticipation. SP will bounce up and down but trend will creep upwards towards 1.2p. There will be displays of frustration on the board, a couple of derampers predictably arriving to seed doubt and uncertainty, and then in May the jam arrives. Iron jam.

Note: my predictions are usually coffee-fuelled idiocy. Except the frustration/derampers part; that's guaranteed.

Demand today being fuelled, I suspect, by a combination of the new, expanded sales operation, and Biden's Green New Deal. Goodness knows what's suppressing it given the stats. Temporary brakes. Just hate that we're missing two days of trading given the current run ! (bah humbug)

Honestly thought we'd see a bit more spring in the price today due to FOMO before Tuesday morning after Boris confirms shops fully opening. For me it's a no-brainer. Sometimes wonder what the professionals see that I'm overlooking in my naiive optimism. Same thing happened with Rolls Royce a few weeks ago; we all knew a good political announcement was being made but the SP did nothing. Then the day after, it went up about 8%.

Thanks ForeverNever. The previous Scrip (as you probably know) was listed on HL as a note so holders could make their choice, and I'm pretty sure that if holders didn't make a choice HL's default stance was to apply the scrip option.

ha ha pindrop. You're right Camkite. A very welcome climb today bringing some activity to the board. I wonder if we'll see some profit taking from the day traders tomorrow/overnight. Anyone with sense will see the potential here (welcome aboard, Deeno) and hold.

Couple of thoughts on this. If anyone's in ECR also, you'll know there hasn't been a scrap of official news since December. December !! it's fallen (like UFO) but stormed back today 18% so far on the anticipation of good news. It's worth bearing that buyer behaviour in mind.
Secondly there's a great deal of speculation on ECR that the reason for the silence is an NDA relating to a partner (sorry - it looks like I'm cross-ramping !). Whether that's true or not is yet to be revealed. But it might echo something similar here; that Bill and Co are not only juggling multiple project initiations, but also discussing commercials and announcements may cascade in April/May.
And finally, glancing at the most recent UFO investor presentation, their timeline for 2021 has a lot starting in March: Donavon maiden drilling, Elizabeth Hill trenching/mapping, Munni-Munni Airmag, and the EH Tailings sampling. All start in March. So it shouldn't really be surprising that news has been muted.
Hopefully news on Hancook in the next fortnight would be the ignition for a sustained rise throughout the rest of 2021.

I didn't post it because I thought it made me look lame(r) and I should be able to research that myself.

From a sales perspective, it's very much easier to start at a higher price and haggle down, than it is to start low and haggle up. I guess the focus on USA is to establish that commercial position to generate profit. Deals could always be struck with individual NHS Trusts, or with private healthcare providers (because dammit that seems to be the way the politicians are taking the UK) and if STX' sales people are good they'll be looking to negotiate on any deal (eg: threshold discounts for volume, and possibly for additional case studies or clinical validity) particularly in the early months to build PR and positive awareness.

I'm of the same opinion as yourself and Camkite, I think. Bought in at 39p after the placing.
I see an effective product that serves a need better than several alternatives. I see us well funded through the next year, and a high profit through a direct sales channel which means we're unlikely to need further share dilution (the risk being the time it takes to make an effective sales channel). I see a SP clobbered by a change in strategy (direct sales instead of via a partner) and the dilution. There's risk of course, but a low MCAP that can increase swiftly on positive news. Whether it'll reach 218p remains to be seen (I honestly feel sceptical) but there's a better chance than not of it breaching 80p in the next year or so - maybe £1 if sales uptake is quicker.
All an opinion, of course.

That said, I can well imagine there are some sorely burned and annoyed holders from the last year who have (on paper) lost a significant amount. I hope their patience is soon rewarded.

I do take the more conservative view, though, allowing for 25% "unexpected what the hell !" news. Anyway, we'll soon find out.

Thanks so much for that research, Esta56. I'm kind of with you, stw010. A few months ago there was that familiar "guess the EoY SP" exercise and I was the most negative at 6p. I've since downgraded my expectations a little to 4.5p+. But next year is where I expect greater returns.
EQT have more pipeline than they can handle. At the moment they need to manage that carefully, to bring in deals and continue building commercial foundations; also critically to deliver smoothly what they can. Land too many deals and they risk spinning too many plates. Land too few and the wind comes out of their sales (see what I did there ?)
It's my belief that 2021 will see a regular handful of probably smaller projects so they can build the teams - in site project delivery and in backoffice. Steady accumulation of people and skills. Then 2022 we may see a clear step up. There could even be (and this is just conjecture on my part) a licensing model, forming a strategic partnership with a global player to implement projects and pay Eqtec revenues on the copyrighted tech. Plus the potential opening of Hydrogen production.

EQT has tremendous potential. Ups and downs to be traded for sure. But the real win will be in buying now, and accumulating on the dips over the next couple of years. All imo of course !

Maybe if you just once Chris2, just once actually explained the reasoning behind your stance.
Maxx111 has regularly posted extensive reasons for his bullish position. You pipe up like Nelson Muntz pointing an laughing but never actually explaining WHY you are bearish.

So lay it out. Do you:
A/ not believe there are the volumes of deposits of iron, silver, copper, gold (delete where applicable)
B/ not believe that UFO is capable of striking a JV with the likes of Capstone to extract it
C/ not believe that commodity prices will hold or increase
D/ feel aggrieved at not making the money you'd anticipated by trading
E/ simply dislike what you see as ramping (ie: Max111).

I ask - and reiterate this because it's my stated position - because as someone invested in the company, I want to know what risks you're seeing that others are not. Do you really see a commercial reason for your stance, or is it simply that you're countering Max to provide balance. You've made 31 posts in the last month - 30 of them in UFO, and every single one critical of the company and/or Maxx111. And never once actually giving well-reasoned evidence for your position.
I tip my hat to you (if I had one) about your prediction on the 4th March of 0.8p. And back in November you said "Not a bad company just a bulletin board to read with caution." I'm keen to learn what you're seeing.

And Hotelbed, you're very close to being right. I might have been one of the people to jump on you - but probably only to ask you to back your opinion up with evidence. Perhaps you could explain your view ? What are/were you seeing to predict 8p ?

10p by the end of 2021 was always "ambitious". But I'd hold by my belief in 3.5p+ Even now.
