With ML now above 235p, ie over £1 more than the launch price of 135p in little over a month, that must go down as one of the most mispriced IPOs in history!
Meanwhile, maybe Trak’s coming good in the nick of time and a takeover won’t be needed (from our point of view).
However, if Searles was appointed back in June, I’m not sure that has much of a bearing. There is obviously the possibility of nepotism here, but the inconsistency of her mother still not having bought any shares - though she does have a few options I seem to recall - is what stands out for me.
But if Trak really is about to turn the corner, staying independent will give us the best chance of 100p - or a lot more even.
I can’t imagine a hostile takeover. I’m no expert on the law and practice of takeovers but, as a NED, Raza is clearly in a privileged position, so I imagine there could be too many legal complications.
