Sainsburys financial update - 25th April - expect positive news regarding lower inflationary pressures

Ocado AGM - 29th April

Kroger Update - 8th May - expect positive news regarding collaboration with Ocado

M&S financial update - 22nd May - expect before or on results day confirmation that they have resolved amicably the rebate with Ocado and the joint venture is starting to mature in a successful manner.

Ocado - HY results - 16th July

The technology solution division of Ocado is the golden cow and is why the SP was close to 3000p a couple of years ago.

The technology will be the driver to re rate the SP.

If Mark Kleinman from Sky can get a scoop around takeover interest in the coming period re Amazon etc then this will multiply rapidly.....the technology alone is worth a lot more than current SP.

Focus on the FACTS and Fundamentals PI's. The SP is a bargain in my opinion. GLA.

To be clear Phoenixy........Ocado has 3 segments....retail, UK solutions and logistics and international logistics.

The upbeat Tesco RNS has a direct correlation to the Ocado retail segment hence the rise this morning. The US CPI figures has an impact on the international logistics segment of Ocado i.e Kroger. However the consensus was 0.3% CPI uplift....it came in at 0.4% so the SP reaction haS been overdone again....this does not impact Tesco directly.

Hedge funds are playing.....this will re rate, do not get spooked. GLA.

You said they were not fulfilment centres....they are, a CFC = Customer fulfilment center.

Ocado Group announced an exclusive US partnership with Kroger - America's largest grocery retailer - in May 2018, and an initial commitment to build capacity equivalent to 20 CFCs across the US.

The quotes are from McMullen the CEO.....I trust he knows what he is talking about....unless you have been out to the sites Sangijuelas1 and have insider knowledge not privy to the CEO?

You need to focus on the FACTS Valueplay.......the focus is to improve efficiency of existing CFC's before rolling out further....there is always teething problems with new technology but once they have revised the operating model it will be rolled out further no doubt.

Sept 2023 - Kroger is continuing to move forward with its automated grocery fulfillment project, but the company is holding off on the development of new facilities until it is confident existing sites are performing up to expectations, the grocer’s top executive said during an earnings call Friday.

Koger is making “continued great progress” on the growth in the e-commerce sheds and the base operating model” of the network, which it is building in partnership with U.K.-based robotics company Ocado, Kroger Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Rodney McMullen said during the call.

McMullen said, however, that “all the energy is focused” on the Ocado sites already in operation, which include customer fulfillment centers, called CFCs, and connected sites known as spokes.

“We’re making progress, but we wouldn’t be to the point where we would start focusing on additional sheds until we make sure that we have a clear path on the ones we have,” McMullen said.

There is a direct correlation between Tesco and M&S and Ocado related to a significant reduction in market inflationary pressures....it is the same retail market. There are other generic related retail market items in the Tesco RNS which also spells good news for M&S and Ocado.

There should also be an uptick from Sainsburys results on the 25th April....expect same messaging regarding lower inflationary pressures etc.

M&S results are the 22nd May....expect good news and re-rate for Ocado in coming weeks in advance of the RNS's. GLA.

Just for clarification.....Goldman Sachs did not acquire 3% of shares ......financial instrument....but still positive.

Marybr190....I am not an avid poster or scanner of these boards but I have noticed you a couple of times popping up....where you buy every share at the lowest low and sell at the highest high and you cut and trim nonsense.....and you post nothing informative about the actual company itself. Your posts are not believable.

PI's are not interested in falsehoods.....if you can provide insight into the companies you are posting about that would be a good start!

The last RNS results do not justify the share price......completely oversold. The M&S JV challenge on rebates has been well overcooked and the hedge funds have been playing with this share.

I have no doubt the shorts tried to create a false narrative on the day of the last RNS......but the good thing is not too many PI's got swept up in the nonsense hopefully! Hedge funds always, always hedge and their plan of selling on the day of the RNS to create hysteria failed ultimately and to allow them to then exit their short positions in an orderly fashion failed ultimately....and they are now in trouble.....love it!

The FACTS and Fundamentals of the the last RNS were excellent.

The imminent EU licence will multiply revenue and profits. CABP have an excellent platform, great exec, fantastic reputation....new material clients will be acquired overnight.

Then the US licence in H2 will literally inject steroids into the SP.

This share is honestly a'no brainer' and in my opinion will be a minimum 250p+ at the end of the year.

Agree strange SP action today......but I have zero doubt the SP will be rerating next month and the coming quarters....the FACTS are all there in the RNS. Bargain price at the mo. Invest and/or Hold for Gold.

Any share price is all about future outlook.

Acquiring the EU and US licences in 2024 will have a significant material impact on income and profits. They are also in the final stages of discussions with other tier 1 banks. These FACTS will mean a significant rerate of the SP to above 250p-300p in due course. DYOR

In the near term we continue to focus on geographical diversification, establishing new market footprints in the United States, Europe and further developing our presence in LATAM. In future we will look to expand further establishing a presence in the APAC region.

We onboarded 83 new clients, of which 42 clients generated income in year, while 41 clients are expected to trade early in 2024.

We are in negotiations with several major financial institutions and expect some of these to begin operating with CAB Payments in the very near future.

Discussions with Julian Dunkerton and Potential Sponsors regarding a possible offer for the Company remain ongoing alongside the Company’s continued work on its turnaround plan, including its exploration of various material cost saving options, which is EXPECTED to be an IMPORTANT element of any such offer.

What does this mean.....it means that in order for Julian to lock in 'sponsors' as they call it.......he needs to convince the sponsors that the cost savings will work and their 'sponsor' money will reap multiple returns in due course and not significant losses. Simple as that. Anything else on this board is nonsense.

As I said I de-risked a while back and free riding. Anybody invested needs to consider their options based on the RNS point above. Its that simple. GLA
