A company does not have to issue RNS's every week to prove progress is being made.
Larger companies tend to use RNS for Financial, Organisational and Shareholder activities.
The RR web site is stuffed full of other information about products and customers.
I urge all RR Investors to look at https://www.rolls-royce.com/products-and-services.aspx
This is a truly amazing company company with many diverse product strategies.
Plus, I am sure much secret work does not reach the public eye until after completion, or later.
Of course, we all know about 'defence and commercial aero engines', this is what Rolls Royce are famous for since 1915.
Today this is only part of the business. Does "R2 Data labs" seem part of RR?
"We apply advanced data analytics, industrial Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to accelerate the development of new data insights, services and apps. Our unique operating model based on data innovation sprints means we can unlock new value from data, combining the latest analytics technology with Rolls-Royce’s industry knowledge and engineering expertise to better support our customers."
The company is more than on-shore and off-shore engine manufacturing. RR is at the forefront of using digital technology in design, manufacturing and operation of energy conversion machines, large scale.
EU, China, Japan, Russia etc, where are they in large scale engine technology?
