Money taken at beginning of week....
RRN shares deleted from Account....
Nothing to prove something is owed....
I have never seen a Trading situation like this....
Definitely RR are taking advantage....
We are waiting for 6.4 billion new shares....
When they eventually arrive, what will happen?
Mass demand and Buying???
Or mass cash grab by Selling???

What does this mean - Just to say I have received mine, they're coming :)
It is one or the other, not both.
My RI shares are coming - for 3 days now!!!
But I have not received them!!!!!
And HSBC confirm to me, they have not received them from the appropriate issuing place yet.
But they do have my many 32p's and they have passed payment on Tuesday 10th.
I expect 'delivery' is a single Email File that can be re-processed internally and load everyone up quite quickly.
Just my guess, there must be many thousands of shareholders waiting like I am.
Will it be a minute, or a week???

usernames, I heard that.....
when RR sell an engine to a commercial airline...
the airline pays a % of the engine cost up front...
and then pays a fee per air-miles like a combined lease and service charge.
So, when planes are DOWN, the fees coming in are low, and they are likely to be in a loss position
But is not Easyjet, for example, running 40% of scheduled flights now, and increasing.
The situation is bad, but far from dead.

I spoke to my bank and RR get the extra £200million
I imagine the brokers/underwriters will get a fee for managing the extra work to place 32p shares at an average of 90p.
This represents a 10% extra return on the sale to raise £2,000million.
Truly remarkable, I have not heard of such a thing before.
Meanwhile, I have still not got my New RR. shares.....

The current SP=90p-ish is to some extent an irrelevance.
Reason? The trades are still low volume and low value.
Just one or two £100K deals can stick a big spike in the SP, UP or DOWN.
We are waiting for the real Trades to start once the new RR. shares arrive.
Meanwhile, my Account is still waiting....

I am logged into InvestDirect at HSBC.
It re-rated my 'old RR.' shares to £price a few minutes ago.
I mention this because this has never happened before.
SP re-rating always happens after Close late-til-midnight.
AND still no New RR. shares in either of my Accounts.
I am due over 100,000 so getting sweaty palms now....
All you guys playing with the possibilities, and me stuck in the shadows.....
Looking at Share Trades, this is still almost 100% small sub-£1K trades....
Implying a major chunk, if not all, of the 6.4b shares are NOT in the market yet.
This could bring about a sub-70p, but not for long.
I am still IMHO a £2/share man during December, possibly January latest.

This is the only time I have this view, but....
Still NO new RR. shares....
I am tempted to buy more at the 90p but...
If a few billion new RR. shares are due to arrive sometime, then....
90p is high, I will wait for 80p following receipt of my Rights Issue shares
80p is unlikely to last long.

Looking at the Share Trades, they are all sub-£1,000, which = nothing
So, to my mind the New RR. shares are still not released.....
Which means a flood is still due to happen.

If the bulk of the 32p new issue shares have yet to be passed to PI's, then 90p is a HIGH not a LOW.

The low level and share volume of trading on RR shares implies no one has received the new RR shares.
There WILL be BUY/SELL pandemonium once the new RR shares reach us, for sure.
It will become obvious if the sentiment is to 'grab the cash and get rid of RR shares' or to 'load up with RR shares whilst still low prices'.
Shorters want the former, medium term holders want the latter.
IMHO demand to hold RR coming out of the epidemic will prevail.
Clearly £2/share is going to happen, only next week? Next month? January?
Not longer IMHO.

I think you are referring to RRN Nil-Paid shares issued on 29th, maybe overnight on 28th.
For subscribing people, they paid the 32p's on Monday 9th.
This removed the RRN shares from your Account.
They will be replaced with full RR. shares today or tomorrow.

Once released there is bound to be large numbers of both Sellers and Buyers.
RR have a large number of large Private Investors. Not like AIM etc dealing in £100's and low £1,000's. There are heaps of people dealing in £100,000's level, even £millions on RR shares. This is like swimming in a stormy sea.....?????????? cowboys everywhere....

RR Rights NOT received at HSBC InvestDirect....
I have just had a long phone call with InvestDirect at HSBC. The new 6.4billion shares have still not been released. The money was handed over to RR's handler on Monday. It is taking time due to the shear vast number of shareholders and RI applicants. RR and Underwriters clearly wish to release the new shares all in one go. This brings fairness of opportunity for Buyers and Sellers. It may be today, it may be tomorrow. We have to wait!!! Phrontist
PS I am surprised to read 11:26 below that Halifax have them!!!

In terms of new cash and loans raised over the last few months, there is almost £1/share before valuing the business.
This based on the new 8.3 billion shares.
So how can you value at 70p/share or lower?
SP will open at 100p and rise never to look back.

Roughly net 400,000 shares were bought between 17:00 and 18:00 this evening.
That represents over 2% of the original 1.94 billion shares.
The 6.4b new shares are on-sale tomorrow, start time not known by me.
Perhaps, like Father Christmas, some kind Under Writers will drop 6.4 billion new shares into out Share Dealing Sacks overnight for a nice surprise from 8am.....

A pretty strong team to guarantee that HSBC receive £2b cash this week.
should be:
A pretty strong team to guarantee that Rolls Royce receive £2b cash this week.

Rolls Royce usual shares are traded as RR. (note the dot)
Rolls Royce 'Nil Paid Rights Issue shares' were traded as RRN.
HSBC would allow us to sell our RRN but not BUY.

The five Underwriters for this £2b RI are:
Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, PNB Paribas, and CitiBank.
They earned £55million for advice, the guarantees and work to execute the RI.
A pretty strong team to guarantee that HSBC receive £2b cash this week.
Each RRN Nil Paid share THAT WAS PAID 32p FOR earlier this week will be replaced with a full normal RR. share within 24 hours.
So by the end of tomorrow, this Rights Issue operation will be complete.
The UK Export Finance agency is to guarantee a further £1bn loan on top of £2bn granted in July.
RR will also receive £1b for a Bond Issue and a further £1b 2-year loan.
This totals £5b made available during November plus the £2b granted in July.
RR have published commitments to streamlining and restructuring for an improved business profile.
Based on this IMHO SP=£2 within 2 months is quite possible.
In part the 2020 Q3 Quarterly report is likely to affect this £2 target.
Tomorrows 'Lift Off' at 8am will be interesting.....

LDMK it has been a complicated RI process, for sure.
I also feared such a trap, the allocation may not come through for some mysterious reason.
So I phoned HSBC 5 or 6 times to review my obligations.
Also I printed out the RR RI guide.

Aerotravel have a beautiful window for holiday travel business. The airlines are raring to go, not least to feed on an unusually low Crude Oil price in decades.
This feeds back to RR business getting back on track more quickly.
