Well, seems like you have given us a complete history of the Shieke's past life and History. None of it is relevant to this share AT ALL. What he did was a way of making money...nothing illegal, but IMO very unreasonable and morally wrong. What can you do....nothing. Just hope that the next guy is less of fly-by-night 'Trader'. IF we do hear of who it may be, best run a check on him to see whether or not he's a good 'un or a rogue. If not, write in with care.

Stay put, sell at this level at you'll be kicking yourselves. Wait another few days, and this will continue to recover, so if you do sell, your losses will be less later than now. No guarantee, but I'm sticking with it a little longer to see what happens.

Can't think why the new guy did a runner, clearly his business acumen was not as good we thought he was, and he made an impulse decision that turned out to be his mistake. Consider this: The Markets realized he was not the man for the job and by getting out, he proved to the Markets that he was useless for the position, hence the 'Tank'. A bit like a kid with a new toy that plays with it for a few days and them finds something else to do and consigns it to the toy box.

It WILL recover when the MM's realize that his getting out was the best for ADME, so the next guy that comes along will see this share recover much more quickly and it will climb up, so hold fire before taking a nasty hit in the pocket! It will slowly creep back up again once the shock to the MM's dies down. My opinion only, so go with your gut feel and make your own stay/go decision. It's volatile and could go either way, but I'm playing a hunch here!

...but not this week. Now it's hit 'Rock Bottom', expect this (minus) figure to halve in the next few of working days or so and I think it will just tip 10p again or slightly over by mid week!

Who's next to go. Hon, etc. I anticipated this share wasn't going anywhere fast ages ago as there's little visible impetus behind it. Now, there's 13M Shares being issued and quite honestly, when I said ages ago that by Xmas, this will still be bumping around on the bottom.

In a year, I very much doubt it will even get close to 20-25p and so it goes on and on with this old dog and will continue to do so or it will just delist.

Pessimist, yup and a cautious one at that. I don't doubt that a Trade at this level will be good when it recovers, but until that happens, as a Long Term prospect, there's little to back it up worthwhile against the continuing placings.
So it continues to go nowhere fast...except South. Been right on numerous occasions as it has become a typical AIM small time Oiler and many just don't last the course before they go along with the CEOs and their bulging pockets. Heed.

Just wait until c31st October, that may be the best time to buy at 'Bargain Basement' prices. Mind you, it can only be considered a bargain if you make some decent wedge!!

I've always maintained that the only people who are going to make anything out of this share are those at the top., ie CEOs, etc. A few traders here and there will make a bit, but year after year, placing after placing, cash calls etc. this will STILL never really get off the ground and will continue to hover in a similar area to where it is now for AGES. I said this months ago, even years and being a realist, it rather appears that I'm not far wrong.

Yes, I 'm a pessimist and that always makes anyone very careful. Being over optimistic about shares on the AIM, leads to short sightedness and complacency = losses. Waste of money IMO. It'll still be around this figure at Xmas and beyond?

A good find. Looking at that lot, and reading into it, there's clearly massive potential there. We're really going to have to wait a long time before all this truly reflects on the Share Price. A year isn't not going to be long enough to maximise this potential but it will rise with good news with decent trading opportunities on the way as to how (hopefully) it will be for later on later. Don't get disappointed if this remains quite for a time. At least we are better off now than with the bloke in charge!

I think everyone knows that idle chitty-chat about which way this will go and when, won't make an iota of difference to the share price. If it did, we'd all be trading it for all our worth!! pmsl!

Just because some Sheike guy who has a few 'quid' gets hold of it, doesn't mean to say it's going to go sky high overnight. When this was ASTAR, then MXO it was assumed that Stefan with his North America Petroleum company would make a huge difference. Only ONCE did it hit 5p, for some unknown reason. Since then, it's plummeted to almost a 'Farthing'!

Relax until you see the RNS's drift through and pray that Boris doesn't become PM, THEN start worrying!!! lol

I don't think too much Market Value, as such, IS attributed to his involvement, but the sentiment of the Markets because he IS involved, also it's who he is. It will die down for now, but when Sheike springs news on us, if it's good, and there's no reason why it shouldn't be, the Markets will react favourably. Much more than it ever did with Stefan because they will know that he is a man of substance, and that will count for a lot when the Markets assess the content of his future RNS's.

In due time, we will be able to work him out and see how his true colors pan out. Not just Black & White as with Stefan.

Another very realistic post. I have also posted similar. However, it appears that if it doesn't happen overnight, people become fidgety. As you have and I have already mentioned, that it could be weeks or months before anything significant happens, but one can never be sure. One thing is certain, looking at this every 5 minutes and writing speculatie comments isn't going to make any difference to the share price!

Anything other than positive comments here are not welcome and classed a 'deramping' by Gigallo, Carter and others. The fact remains, we pay to have our say, good bad or indifferent, and you are correct in saying that Rome etc. It didn't happen on the first RNS with the new owner. Long term, it could be good, but making claims of huge amounts is based purely on that person's thoughts, and without FACTS, PROOF or EVIDENCE until it appears on an RNS, such claims are unfounded. Watch & wait, what more can you do?

INCONCEIVABLE: It wasn't THAT bad mate, but people expected more, but only a bit more. I'm a realist about this, always have been and I will never make claims about how great this could be until it actually PROVES it is, and it isn't going to happen just yet!! It's not a bargain or cheap until people have made lots of money. Most Penny shares are cheap, why...work it out.... RISK!!

I expected a little more, however, the recent large rise were clearly the Markets reacting to the takeover. We are now experiencing the Anti Climax until the next bout of news. For now, any news that drifts through will probably only increase the share by around 5% or so. In the meantime, one trades as one thinks fit so we sit tight and watch the run-of-the-Mill fluctuations until Shiekey decided what he wants us to know next, so we wait. Don't expect too much too soon because we had it good for a while and been spoilt! . There won't be any Jam on the bread for a while so give it all a chance. It won't happen at the drop of a hat which I think some expect it to?

Halifax has auto-updated my holding to the correct name, so at least they are on the ball. All consolidation has been done too.

My reasoning is fair and reasonable. Mitch agrees with my logic, and if you recall, many months ago, I did say that Stefan needs to go long before it was mentioned on this Forum by anyone because he stifled the 'product', and until he went, the share would be undulating on the bottom. Right on both counts. NOW, we can see how my prophesy pans out now that we know he' son the move...pockets bulging.

This moment could be what the Markets have been waiting for...based of course on my previous writings! (lol). I think now, that providing this Sheike gu doesn't milk it for what it's worth (Milkshiek!) , then I think we can anticipate the 1p share being not to far off. I did say it would stick this low price until Xmas. However, now we know he's off, things will change with new blood running the show.

I have some reservations about whether or not he will take this share Private in a year or so, which I think he will?

You are right to be sceptical, it's the only way to be here or on any other AIM share. Not much point in building people's hopes up with 5p here and several pence there until it actually happens and is visible in blue up top.

Scepticism doesn't affect the Share Price, that's down to the Market Makers. If you are in a share and own some, then you have a right to an opinion. Nothing's certain until it happens, if some people don't like other's opinion, they can be filtered or ignored.

I like a realist who says it as it is. Excellent. This share will show it's true colours in a number of months, then you will be able to tell more, which way is heading. I was called a misery by someone for expressing what I think is correct, and that was that this SP won't be far off where it is now by Xmas. Of course, this could easily change in a few weeks, but Penny Oilers come and go like Seasons, so speculation is fine, but over-hyping ANY Penny share is IMO unrealistic unless it's obvious with PROOF and Evidence that a high price is imminent. Justification for "5p Tomorrow" is unfounded unless such news comes through that proves it's going to be a dead cert, and when you know it IS, the SP will have already rocketed at the 'Speed o' Light' as the MM's will have latched on to it before most of us!!

So much hype and 4 years to drop to a small percentage of our 5p that it was once. The majority of small Oilers are the same, loads of news but piddly share price only good for trading, fine but not a lot of good for many LTH. Come Xmas, it'll still be hovering around where it is today no doubt, except it won't be called MXO. Maybe the 'Stigma' of MXO will have been shaken off by then, after that is anyone's guess...new name, more placings. Just a change of clothes and a haircut!
