Sanctuary is what makes of a good relationship which is why most men have a large shed in the garden. At present, I have to look after my Cat. She is 17 and slowing down a bit. She comes first. 'Missus' works all hours, so I don't see her that much anyway, even though we work 300 yards from each other. As and when the Cat's demise happens (which will be the 4th one in 6 years), I will have to get out for a while as losing Pets is worse than losings one's closest friend or even a Parent. Strange, but that's how it is. I will then stay in her house periodically and see whether a move later is viable?

GUYS: A house for a long standing couple has to be large. Essentially, if you call the Missus anywhere in the house in normal raised voice and she replies, the house is too small. If you shout loudly and she still doesn't hear you, the house is just the right size. :)

Hi Volley. I won't be selling my house just yet, but my shares won't buy me very much anyway, Perhaps at 2p, a decent holiday or two. Ideally, £110K will wipe out the Mortgage and everything else to leave a clean slate. Not a lot of money by today's standard, but it is when you haven't got it!

I know a few people who have lost a lot more than that on the AIM!! One mate lost £250K due to being greedy and wanting more. It crashed over night! He's 85 and worth around £1.5M, so he's not too bothered!

Hope your house purchase with the girlfriend is a success. I have the option of selling my property and moving in with mine. It will, a. Be cheaper than driving 80 miles a day to work and back. b. Have some equity to play with or buy tent if it doesn't work out. c. Be near my friends who all live within a 10 miles radius, although that doesn't bother me.

Disadvantages of living with her: a. Too dangerous. b. Brain damage. c. Independence gone. d. Having to wear a Garlic Necklace. For her next birthday I will buy her a Pointed Hat with stars on it and a Black Cat. Spent 32 years in my own house and just a few minutes from the Beach. Much better, no nagging or moaning about who put the oily finger mark on the light switch!

She IS a good cook, super-clean house and very kind & generous. Not much good at anything else (ie. Conversation!! IQ is about 50...Loves Banana's! Rarely wins in a 'discussion')

Don't be fooled, as we don't know what will happen to the SP AFTER the AGM. It depends on the news that may precede of follow the meeting. Expect the unexpected?!
