The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Wooster, I pinched myself to see if I was awake!! Nearly there......The Mighty TXP is about to start delivering!! A good day indeed!!
I am copying an message I posted last year. There was another post I made where I stated that handing over the pipeline to a third party company was the worst possible deal I could think of, I still think that decision was madness. I can't find that post.
Take a look at this message from January 2021, the part where PB said it's a trust deal.......I still can't believe the pipeline deal with NGC was made.....
"Just spitballing here.....you know I am uber positive about the Mighty TXP....but....
A couple of months ago I stated that I was nervous about the NGC contract, namely that it was taking so long to sign. After watching PB on the YouTube interview today I have to say, I'm not happy with what was described. A contract without penalties for NGC is not much of a contract in my opinion. I understand PB does not want penalties for TXP should we get a duster but we haven't got dusters, we have 'world class' discoveries.
What if BP and their Ginger field look more attractive to NGC? Can NGC just turn around and say that our TXP pipeline is not being installed? Then what? If there are no penalty clauses then presumably there would be no come back and ultimately we would sit with our 'world class' gas fields but with no pipeline or customers.
On the face of it, the 'biggest contract we will ever sign' isn't that protective to the interests of TXP.
Before anybody says I'm talking rubbish, PB even says in the interview 'I hate to say it but it's a trust approach' Trust in business is only ever useful if things are going smoothly.
Hmmmm......PB......I don't know sir, I just don't know......
I know this is the best board on LSE but I want your thoughts please and do not hold back if you think I am completely wrong. I just can't reconcile this in my mind.....'
That £1.50+ we had for a while was nice for a while......
Badkrukan - now that's funny.
The big question, as it seemed highly important in all presentations for long while, are TXP are still giving out hampers to the workers and locals? I hope so......
Interesting....
'Trinidad and Tobago want to be one of the world leaders in increasing gas production in order to wean other countries off the reliance on Russian energy resources amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. '
Good to know.
'12p to £4 in 5 years will do for starter' Yee Haa Lexion!!
Damn it PB.....as stated a while back, I was really hoping for £1 before the end of May so that I could book Club Class to South Africa. Maybe the return journey at the end of June?....pretty please.....
I saw it last week and meant to post on here but the brain has gone AWOL since then and I forgot the actual name of what I saw. I did Google the hall to see if I could get any images of the doors in the back of shots but alas the photographer focused on the hall itself. Ol well, thanks for the reply PI.
I've decided that share dealing is like gold panning. You get loads of grit (or shares) in your pan. You shake your pan around and wait for most of the detritus (had to Google that one) to disappear. You get left with one piece of gold and some really big piles of grit which are worth naff all. Goodness I'm deep......
I was at a village hall in Cornwall the other day and it had NanoSynth branded handle protectors on all the doors. At least I'm sure it said Nanosynth? Is that a product anybody else has seen elsewhere?
A very good play on words Whouse....that made me smile.
Hey Simon, I meant to mention dancing shoes and ask after you but pressed the send button before I was concentrating. How goes it with you? If we get £1 in a day I will not only get my dancing shoes out I will also change my name to Fred Astaire!!
I see Kraken has been mentioned. I have today finished my biggest decking ever, about 80m long and various widths in that length. Mrs Photo and I started this together with our handyman business, but as we are moving to South Africa at some point, Mrs Photo, the kids and our three legged wonder dog have gone in advance. I just had three months there which was rather pleasant for the old bones I have to say. Back to the point, as a celebration of finishing the decking and having such a great day on TXP, I am going to pour myself a nice big Bacardi Spiced Rum!! And why not I ask? Cheers.....
Hey Lexion, I remember the first 2p rise day. Damn it man I was so happy when that happened. Now we are talking about multiple pennies rise, it's a little surreal seeing how much money can be made in a day with TXP. I know there is a flip side to that last statement of course. By the way, did we get to £1 today? I saw it was rising, then it fell an d then it rose again, just wondering if we touched £1 at all?
A while back I predicted that the COHO connection, and therefore TXP delivering our first gas to market, would raise the SP by 10p on the day of the announcement. I'm adjusting that. I have a feeling the feel good factor on the back of that news will prove irresistible, I am now going for a 15p intraday raise. What does anybody else think?
Monday lunchtime....BilkosBuddy, I'll book my ticket there and then if that hapens!!
I agree Lexion, I think the Mighty TXP is just about to start its climb to the top its own potential.
As always, a very happy holder of his beauty of a share.
I promised myself that if we are at £1 by the end of May I am bookinmg Club Class to South Africa fopr trip in June. Come on TXP....make me happy and let me get spoilt!!
Sorted. It took 35 minutes to get it sorted but done now.
Is anybody else having issues logging into barclays today?
Maybe it’s my rose tinted glasses but I’m not worried about the drop. I’m fed up in the short term, but I’m not worried in the long term. What will be will be. And what will be will be lovely as Smasher so perfectly pointed out with his earlier post. (Smasher, I have assumed your a fella, apologies if you are a lady).
Im still a holder of the Mighty TXP even if I am a little fed up at the snails pace that our ‘world class’ assets are becoming monetised.
I seem to remember PB saying that we can sell our oil straight from the ground. Is that to whoever we like?
The gas, even though the price is low EvenL, we didn’t have to fork out or even maintain the pipeline, that has to be a consideration? Maybe an indexed contract should have been negotiated? Having said that, for whatever reason, a 1,200 page document, a lack of will, or any other reason, nobody is rushing to get our gas even at the cheap price we receive.
T&T being an island with no real hand in the bigger picture has to be a good thing for investment. Then again, I know nothing of the world game that the really ‘clever’ people play, so maybe T&T is just another country and no safer than the rest.
