George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
I wonder if in the current crisis in Europe, if a ‘safe’ company like TXP, looks even more attractive as an investment? Nobody knows for sure what is going to happen and when it will happen, but at least for now TXP has oil coming out the ground and a shed load of gas. As I say, just a thought. Time will tell.
And as I post…..down she goes. Commentators curse!!
I know it’s still early in the day but I did not expect a SP rise today. With the invasion under way I really thought that the markets all over would get hammered. Not checked the actual market prices but TXP is doing okay currently. A long way to go, and I know it’s only day one, but i’m pleasantly surprised so far.
Shame T&T is so far from Europe, gas will be needed at some point. Good job Spring is on the way when the demand should be lower…..I guess?
I honestly never thought we’d see these SP levels again. Very disappointed in what is happening or not happening here. Is TXP becoming a bottom drawer share? I can’t believe I have even got those thoughts. How can a company have ‘World Class’ assets and be so hammered by the market. My most negative post ever on TXP? Probably……
That made me laugh Wooster.
Honestly, until we get production online, I don't think it will matter how much good news there is in the reserve update, I feel that the price will remain at these levels. Selling produce from our 'world class' assets is all that matters. I said two years ago on this board, that I could not believe that TXP negotiated a deal whereby others controlled our 'world class' assets. I thought it was a very bad deal then and two years later I still do. PB himself has said that Shell aren't bothered about our gas (I can't remember his exact words?). We have to sell our product and that is the fundamental truth of business.
I can have all the fancy camera's in the world, if I don't book weddings what does it matter, I don't earn money.
Lexion can have the best crops in the UK that his farm can produce, if he doesn't sell it what does it matter?
I don't know what anybody else does for a living but you get my point.
Selling is everything......
Still very positive in the Mighty TXP but somebody somewhere needs to get their finger out and sell our gas.....
I need to get my eyes checked. CW not CE. My mother in law lent me her glasses which work brilliantly. The trouble is, I look a little like Dame Edna!!
Hey CE, I’m in South Africa and trying to get a visa as Mrs Photo wants to move back. I have now found out that I can’t actually apply for the visa I need whilst in SA……dealing with Government departments is such a joy. I have to be back in the UK for work in March anyway but the pain of the paperwork is horrible. We’ve all been there I’m sure.
Ol well…..at least the Mighty TXP will make me wealthy and then I can kick back in the sunshine. Some of the houses for sale this side are amazing!!
After a day of sitting in an embassy waiting to be told I need yet another paper…..it was nice to see the TXP had a nice rise today. Come on the Mighty TXP…..make us all happy and wealthy!!
That was to Monkey.
You silly bugger….. You did make me laugh though.
Ah okay. I have a wedding to shoot in North Norfolk in August, I thought it might have been a good chance to say hello if you were willing? I just want to drive your new tractor…..
Lexion - do Intl remember you saying that you are in Norfolk?
Thanks for the updates to those who have offered an opinion on the presentation.
Hey Lexion, By the look of the comments regarding the presentation your scary skills will not be needed. PB is always going to deliver for the Mighty TXP!! Good luck hunting spirits. I found mine, it’s in a pint glass of ice and ginger beer, it’s called Bacardi Spiced Rum. I love South Africa!! The cicardo (spelling?) beetles are my favourites as that noise is lovely. I couldn’t view the presentation as my internet is rubbish this side.
Hunting for ghosts Lexion? That’s a cool evening!! Let’s hope we aren’t eating for fairytales here.
If PB is giving a presentation on hampers for locals etc he might as well not bother I’m my opinion.
Big supporter of PB and the Mighty TXP but enough waffle, it’s time to deliver.
Any chance somebody could post the tweet please? I’m on a farm in South Africa and my internet is slower than vegetables growing. I can’t open the link.
Thanks for the correction HappySparrow.
Good work Monkey.
Great post HappySparrow, thanks for sharing.
I'm here in SA until March, then due to work commitments I'm back in the UK until September. I can't do winter anymore. I like the sun too much. It's only 22 degrees here today but Christmas Eve it gets warmer again. Right, off for a family party, Mrs Photo has a gathering of her clan and it will mean a few ciders in the sun.
Have a great Christmas Simon.
