Same here. Had taken a few off the table with the delay, but have gone to full commit again now. Expect the equity:debt ratio was the sticking point for the financing faciltity and today's additional investment is likely what was required to get it over the line. I expect the JDF RNS will be issued imminently as indicated and then were only a few weeks until spud on a very high COS huge impact North Sea drill campaign. The window to get in under 40p is closing rapidy IMO. Time to buy Winnifrith. GLALTH

I don't tend to check rig locations myself as my investment strategy doesn't require such pinpoint timing, however when I've seen others doing so for various drills they've often quoted websites with out of date information. Are we sure the information on ECO's rig's current location is accurate? Likewise KH might just be sticking to the ECO party line. If there was a delay if would be for Gil to inform the market via RNS.

So what? If REE prices are going to soar it makes sense for RBW management and brokers to let the SP move play out as much as possible as it will draw in ever larger amounts of liquidity making it much easier for them to raise a large amount of capital and at a much higher price with less dilution for existing shareholders. Given the China-US trade dispute is a once in a generation oportunity in the REE space, it wouldn't make sense for REE producers to shoot the golden goose before it's even got into its stride. Come back later in 2019 and your argument will make more sense, but until then expect this to get ramped to the heavens. Same goes for MKA wich is the other LSE REE stock by the way.

With a 20% stake I'm sure KH has had access to all the data and he will be more than capable of evaluating the risks. If you remember Gil joked that KH would have taken more than 20% of ECO if Africa Oil's investment policy had allowed. I suspect KH's assement is spot on but the drill bit will reveal all. Nothing is ever certain so it's sensible to derisk somewhat, although I will be holding a chunky amount right through drilling as I do believe the rewards here will be huge. Are others doing the same?

It seems 'so called' green BS has more of an impact on the SP than actual operational evidence on the ground. 'Can't sell beef if we're producing oil.' LOL. How does a rock inteval miles under the ocean and far out to sea communicate with a green field? Does the produced CO2 pollute it? Well, the ever increasing CO2 from China and India will make Irish beef toxic then? Er, no. Grass eats CO2, so burning more fossil fuels will actually makes grass lusher and greener. They should use the Irish flourishing oil and gas industry to promote the lushness of Irish Beef. They could even use the gas to make fertilizer for the grass. LOL. Anyhow, if the fools really gave a toss about CO2 levels wouldn't they ban beef farming as it produces HUGE quantities of CO2. We don't need to eat stake, but we do need heating and transportation. These 'so called' greens are selectively critical hypocrites and I suspect many of them don't actually care about the enviroment anyway.

appear to be the two main REE plays on the LSE. Should do well with REE prices soaring and China threatening to ban their export.

Warik, you bought at the one year high and then held all the way down. With judgement like that why should we listen to anything you say about UKOG? Also why did you expect 10p? The number of shares in existence is far higher now than it was last time it hit 10p so that makes no sense. The drop to 0.8p in 2017 was due to Tom Winnifrith twice leaking details of the Broadford Bridge-1 pre drill placing which caused the SP to drop in anticipation and the placing price to be lowered as a result. This time round the pre-drill placing is already out of the way so no reason for a further drop. Having hit 1.05p for the first time two and a half weeks ago the ask is still 1.05p so it the SP is actually very stable. Also, why can no other stock get you your money back? If you lose money on stock X don't try to make back only on stock X, make it where you think it easiest to do so. There are plenty of excellent opportunities on the LSE. Nothing is ever certain, but with the biggest operational period for UKOG in two years only a few weeks away I think UKOG is one of the highest probability canditates for a serious rally in the oil sector over the next 1-3 months. This is definitely a time to buy and not a time to sell IMO. If you're feeling stressed I reccommend the 81% from Lidl althought the 70% tastes better.

Come back in a few weeks then. At some point the rig will arrive and drilling will start. SP should have perked up by then. Then wait for the first tasty RNS. Then we'll start hearing about how many feet of pay has been encountered. These wells are horizontal so we're talking 1000s of feet this time. Probably get it reported incrementally for maximum salivation. Then the Lenimath will begin as peeps start predicting huge flow rates based on a BOPD/ft basis and UKOG might give its own predictions. The herd will be all over it by this stage. Perhaps UKOG will then move to the second well to get us to fever pitch before any actual flow rates are revealed. With funding out of the way and all the juicy newsflow pending this is an excellent entry point.

it was 2-5 years further away from commerical production than it is now yet it didn't stop the SP soaring massively and it won't stop it this time either. If time to production was a major factor in SP movements it should propel the SP even more this time as we're closer to commercial production than ever before.

Gosh, an oil well on AIM where the timeline keeps slipping! Imagine my shock! That's par for the course for almost every well, CPR, site survey and other operational activity of every oil company on AIM. Compared with most shares UKOG's timekeeping is actually pretty good.

Warik, that was on a placing. Some of us bought under 1p back then despite the epic whinging on here that UKOG was finished and sold near 10p not long after. Placing this time was at 1.05p so no need for a further dip. SP is just biding its time until operations start. UKOG has had two major rounds of drilling in the Weald Basin so far and delivered huge SP rallies in both cases plus a huge rally on HH Kim results. Give it a few weeks and folks will be wishing they'd bought a lot more at this price. UKOG has never let operational newsflow go to waste and with two HH wells underway soon you can be sure they will squeeze it for all it's worth. I can almost smell the Lenimath from here. GLALTH
