Don't normally go off topic, but DELT and EME also look like they might outperform over the next few weeks as they are both about to drill decent looking wells. DELT is North Sea gas, which seems in vogue given the current geopolitical backdrop, whilst EME is close to some large analogous finds just offshore China. I have a bit in both, but ECO remains firm number one. Thanks.

Any update on the next well on the Venus block? There seemed to be some suggestion of an appraisal of Venus or that they might drill another prospect, perhaps Venus West, which appears to be similar size and may be connected. I see the rig is currently anchored in Walvis Bay.

Yes, just plugged. Gil pointed out in his presentation the other day that Joe and Jethro were still very much in play with a break even of $48 a barrel and would definitely work at $100 a barrel. I would have though that any light oil discovery in the vicinity would also improve the economics further. We have plenty of targets.

Yesterday, remarkably, Brent dropped back below the price it was at before the Ukraine invasion started, so I would expect it to now stabilize. Part of the reason for the pullback was the expectation that the Iran Nuclear Deal was about to be passed allowing a little more supply back on the market, but that now looks to be in serious jeopardy.

Relax. Look at all the wells that are going to get drilled. WTE has exposure to multiple drills on at least 5 blocks to look forward to.

With a major UK North Sea Shell operated gas drill just around the corner you would think the market would be all over this given the current backdrop. Remarkable.

The well is located between Cataback-1 and Lau Lau-1. Together with Tarpan-1, Barreleye-1, Lukanani-1 and Patwa-1, I make that 5 exploration drills either underway or about to spud on Stabroek at present. Quite a drill rate. Canje is next.
