Makes sense. WSBN is near to and has a target with similarities to Havieron ready to roll. I expect a tidal wave of cash is about to head out of GGP very shortly as people slice a portion of their considerable profits on the imminent JORC report. This cash will be looking for a home and I expect WSBN and OMI will be two of the main beneficiaries as they seem to be firmly on the radar of many GGP investors. Any slight increase in volume and WSBN will launch big time. Best to start building that position before the crowd rocks up. GLA

The outlook is not as rosy as it was pre spud, however I'm still confident the sidetrack should come good so have added on this drop as any good news and this could really fly especially as flow testing of first well is to follow.

We'll all learn in time. Nobody knows how this will pan out yet. I've been very positive on RBD for a long time, but this well has been a disappointment so far and the RBD SP performance has been dire. Quite how UJO continues to rally so strongly at every turn while RBD barely fizzles is a real kick in the teeth for RBD investors especially as UJO is already WAY more expensive than RBD for WN exposure and has a much smaller interest in the project. I hope the sidetrack comes good, but with the way things have gone so far who knows? It's all guesswork, but good luck.

If the Red Setter drill results are even only partially as good as GGP the SP will hit £1 well before any gold is extracted. Drilling alone will send this significantly higher from here as everyone piles in ahead of what hopefully will be Havieron 2.0. Plenty of other projects on the books too. Super excited about the next few months for WSBN. Could well we stock of the year for 2021. GLA

Imp, if you are looking to put lots of money into OMI then it might be wise to start to dribble money across as it will be hard to buy such a large amount as you point out. Move X grand from GGP to OMI every Y days and you will get a blended price. If GGP rockets or OMI dips significantly then increase the amount. ATB

Imp, try to assess which has the greater % upside from current SP over near and medium time frames and allocate accordingly.

Agreed Mav. 2021 looks like it will be Nambia's big moment with lots of drilling all round. Given ECO's huge acreage position in country this will likely be the catalysts for them to secure farmouts and maybe even start drilling. By the time people are ready to get on board for Guyana the horse will likely have already left the barn. What's more, if the oil sector continues to re-rate towards the post COVID uplands ECO should rise with it from its currently very oversold levels. GLALTH

After the financial crisis of 2008 gold didn't go up? Oh come off it JFL. Gold went from $681 in 2008 to $1921 three years later.

Nor do I Elgin. ECO is already very low having hit the bottom in March and made a higher low just recently just like the rest of the sector. The W recovery is now in play and the oil sector is starting to move higher and ECO will go with it. Some really ropey oil stocks have soared the last few days on nothing so ECO should have no problem. I'm not willing to muck about waiting for a slightly cheaper entry as the sector rally lifts all boats and we look forward to news on Namibia and Guyana.

Quite a few gold stocks did very well today including PAF which seems to lead when the sector starts a leg higher. Suspect we are about to see a strong bounce across the sector from very oversold levels. OMI took less that 4 sessions to go from these levels to 46p. Plenty of investors have now had plenty of time to get fully genned up on the investment case here and exploration news flows is about to start so there should be plenty of interest. GLALTH

I get the feeling that people trying to ultra finesse their entry based solely on our Guyana drilling schedule are going to be caught with their trousers down by developments on our Namibian licenses and third party drilling. With the oil sector clearly starting to recover, being underweight in ECO for the sake of a few extra percent is starting to looking increasingly dangerous. This will have a huge move sooner or later and I for one do not intend to be left on the sidelines. GLALTH
