UFO just paid £228K for that asset, which equates to 0.007p per share. If it's worth 1.6p per share already they would have had to pay considerably more than £228K. Give it time and it should come good, but its early stage and lots of work needs to be done yet to prove up value.

Agreed Schoolboyknows. UFO has a lot going on and some very interesting projects, but this RNS is rather underwhelming. Those grades are very ordinary. Seems retail investors think everything is brilliant.

No sooner did Lenigas hear the drill result from Havieron he instructed his team to peg all the available ground around it. They pegged hundreds of square kilometers including land right up to Havieron on three sides and submitted their application the following Monday morning beating a major international mining company by three hours. Impressive.

He has a degree in mining engineering and cut his teeth working at Telfer, so knows the industry and area very well. He helped EEE source their Eclipse project near Kalgoorlie and is working to help other LSE listed companies identify Australian gold projects.

He also has an excellent understanding of the stock market and how to generate investor interest to get projects of the ground and increase the SP. The guys is seriously capable and he is unlikely to be in this for a quick turn.

As with any stock investment there are always risks, but the combination of fantastic location near Telfer and Havieron and Lenigas's stock market nouse means this stock has all the ingredients of being a stellar performer. Just wait till the drill starts turning. Investor interest will be electric. GLA

Pass me a hanky. Munchy's concern for our well bring really brings a tear to my eyes. OMI announced Anza drill results in April 2018 and Charrascala drill results in June 2018. Then in July 2018 Newmont bought OMI shares at a 102% premium to the market price followed by a much larger purchase in September 2018. Since then not a single meter has been drilled to alter Newmont's view of the assets although an N43-101 report was released in January 2019. Guess it must have shaken them to the core right? Stupidly I've just re-read the stellar intercepts in the report so you'll have to excuse me. While Newmont gets ready for first drilling since coming aboard I must go cry me a f**king river.

You do realize that if two companies have the same share price it doesn't mean they are on the same valuation, right? Each company has a different number of shares in issue and you have to multiply that number by the SP to get the valuation. GGP is currently valued at £813M and WSBP at £14M, which is equivalent to GGP at 0.36p. GGP has a fantastic discovery already under its belt, and WSBN has it all to prove but is in a great location. Different stages of progress at very different valuations, but both very compelling at their respective price points. Hope that makes sense.

No problem. Certainly hard to know what's going on with all the delayed reporting. Major risk at the moment is of another RNS dropping and the SP gapping up again on open. We know one is due in the next few days and it's very easy for the MMs to wrong foot everyone. Was impossible to buy the other day when news landed until SP had risen considerably.

Very good point about the repo market. How many billions was it every night in repo operations at the tail end of 2019 and into 2020? The equivalent of the entire 2008 TARP program every few hours wasn't it? The virus isn't the reason the gold price has rallied, but the monetary and fiscal response to it certainly fueling gold further and such stimulus is only going to accelerate.
