Agreed Vicjain. BTC is soaring higher and gold is plunging yet they are pretty much driven by the same arguments. Once the sector snaps back OMI will rocket together with many stocks across the sector. OMI went from this level to 46p in less than 4 sessions so don't get caught napping. Drip feed of cash should be bigger chunks by now. GLALTH

EWT, I'm not certain on the mechanics, but if you imagine the futures markets are basically leveraged paper bets on commodities prices which have an expiry date, large commercial entities (banks) can run people out of their positions as expiry approaches by forcing the price lower or higher to benefit their book. Effect is magnified by people bailing on losing positions before expiry. Once expiry passes the market reverses.

Has more to do with pullback after an extreme move combined with gold price drop. Nothing whatsoever to do with news flow IMO.

Exploration operations haven't even started yet you fools talk like it's all over. Try looking across the sector. Retrace is not WSBN specific. Plonkers.

The distasteful part is seeing all the slimy weasels turn up sneering at everyone when a lot of people on here are long term investors with serious skin in the game. OK, my tip is OMI. Newmont and Agnico farmed in to OMI's only project. OMI gets full free carry including regular payments to cover G&A so no placings to pay for anything. Multi-rig drilling starts any day now on their Anza project where 24km of drilling has already revealed excellent grades. First drilling since majors came aboard. Newmont owns about 20% of OMI shares. Fantastic location in Colombia's prolific Cauca Gold Belt.

Other than that gold and silver are going great guns now after the earlier tap lower on vaccine update. GGP and the sector will blow again soon enough and we will do very well. Good luck all.

It seems that the last couple of weeks has seen a massive amount of data problems for a whole load of retail share data providers. I've had problems with ADVFN, Share Cast (Digital Look), Shares Magazine and others. Charts and chat not working, trade and price data wrong or missing. It's been a total nightmare. It seems that there may have been a change in the way that the LSE sends trade data and many of these problems still seem unresolved. ADVFN and London SE seem a bit better, but still seem to have some missing data. Anyone else having issues or found a data provider that is working properly? Cheers.

Just look at SOLG. Correction for three or four weeks and now a sudden turn around. Expect exactly the same here.
