I completely disagree. OMI will not need any more projects to focus on. The correct course of action is a complete buyout of the business based on Anza success following which investors can move their cash into new investment projects they select themselves by buying other stocks.

Agreed EWT although I think £2M at around 25p+ would have been more sensible at this stage and then further top up funding as needed into strength later on. Does feel a bit like some brokers spotted a mug non-finance CEO. I guess the market makers have also been unwinding any short positions brought on by continuing to sell this illiquid stock as it rocketed a few weeks ago. It will all work itself out soon enough and we'll be wondering what all the fuss was about. The excellent project credentials remain so stay focused on the medium term yet vigilant for lift off at short notice.

Markets can appear illogical over the short term, but over time value gets recognized. OMI is in an enviable position with free carry and two excellent quality partners on a highly prospective licence with excellent drill results so far. As drilling progresses and more value is proven up across the licence I'm certain that OMI will shine big time. Rather than trade the ups and downs I'm staying invested for the bigger picture. At some point this will fly big time and I have no intention of short term negativity leaving me sat on the sidelines especially in an illiquid share that can rise as rapidly as this. OMI is an excellent micro cap investment opportunity in an up and coming top 2% gold exploration project. All the best to my fellow investors.

BlackHopper, I agree on flow testing. The market appears to be in denial that West Newton could actually be such a stonking onshore discovery. Once net pay figures, hydrocarbon phase and flow rates have been revealed the market will have no choice but to recognize that RBD is holding the controlling stake in the second biggest UK onshore oil field of all time and will reprice the shares accordingly. Given the importance of these data points I expect to see a strong SP appreciation in anticipation particularly as the risks are now significantly lower than before exploration began.

Also, I'd say they are more relevant to highly liquid main board stocks where stops are run to knock out market participants before SP reverses direction.

Or perhaps I should say, in normal market circumstances they make sense, but when fundamentals change significantly they make no sense whatsoever. Gap at 50p. Takeover offer at 100p. Gap will not fill.

Wonder where he'll go next? He refers to GGP being at a key inflection point as regards Havieron and I imagine many investors will also sense this and be looking to take some profit off the table. Expect we'll see those funds heading to similar projects at earlier stages of exploration and I expect WSBN will be one of the main beneficiaries over the next few weeks, especially as Red Setter exploration is scheduled for 2021 Q1. It will not take much extra cash inflow here to see the SP really motor. Things look about to get very exciting indeed. GLA
