I also agree about KS, I now think he is simply taking an expensive punt on one of the very few AIM shares not fleecing the private investor and which actually has something of value to sell.

For the record I don't think KS is making a bid, certainly not after it was posted that BB had sold his 5%.

But for the sake of a discussion and to provide a counter argument I think KS is buying for his wealthy sporting contacts or another consortium. He tried with Reabold and eventually with Love Hemp. As I have previously stated it is known he was interested in energy and battery storage, so there is some justification for the idea, it is not pure pie in the sky guesswork.

While many investors bought in at higher prices and therefore have less shares, me included, 100,000 shares are now cheaply bought. Investors will have been buying in at 5p down to less than 2p, again including me. The longer it stays down at 2 or 3 p the more the average investor will hold at the cheaper price. Yes many will not sell that bought in high but KS showed what could be happening in the background. Don't dismiss the idea because of what you think but try putting yourself in the place of others.

For that I was pounced by some ignorant and intolerant people who can't seem to discuss possibilities and options without resorting to abuse.

I stand by what I wrote, 5p could be attractive to many investors although I doubt very very much it could facilitate a takeover but it could be a starting point. I seriously think 10-15 p would sway the majority into accepting an offer. If you think otherwise I don't think you are being realistic.

If you can only reply with abuse then look hard at yourself and why you need to do it.

I am not fantasising about a low takeover offer. I simply state its a possibility. How about 10p after 5p is rejected is that so daft?

There is no fantasy in an offer of x5 the current share price. The fantasy is thinking its worth 30 or 40p, maybe in the future as everyone states but here and now the share price has just risen above 2p. Pity I can't highlight that 2p.

Dream away all you want but I'll buy more tomorrow at whatever its marked up, hopefully about 2.5p

I suggest you study all the other get rich certainties over the years, nearly all didn't achieve the ambitions that were given them.

Reality name of the game, save the dreaming for when the money is in your bank account.

KS may have paid as little as £1.2 Million for 4.08% of this company !

The world has changed very quickly recently, Vanadium and flow batteries seem a lot more mainstream and newsworthy. BMN therefore a lot more interesting than in the past. Both Acacia and KS have bought in around the 2p mark and could stand to make 100% on a 5p bid.

Hands up investors that would turn down 100% profit! Yes yes many diehards here will want xxx%

Yes i know it's hypothetical but there is serious money moving into the energy storage sector and you've all convinced me BMN is an incredible winner. But don't let the sharks know !

But you don't get to set the price. Realistic for you isn't necessarily realistic for the buyer. Everyone's in it to make money, the more the better.

Realistic in my book is 5 to 10p based upon the current share price not the future 'potential' . The buyer is paying for what's on offer now and if the potential comes up trumps he's a genius.

I would leap for joy if an offer of 50p came in but thinking realism why would anyone pay that price NOW.

This is simply a discussion of what could be following the buying by KS. Personally I think he's buying in like the rest of us- on a hope. He has a few well of contacts and his ventures into Reabold and Love Hemp weren't stunning. On the Reabold board someone said they had spoke with him a while ago and he said he saw a future in battery storage. Just the same as the rest of us but with a bit more money to play with from his sporting friends.

Everyone is quick to point out the enormous potential worth of this company, then why are you set against it being a take-over target ?

If you can see this huge upside then so can others. The only thing to discuss is the price. The simple fact is the company is valued by the markets at £35 Million , chicken feed for some Premier League footballers. There are thousands of investors out there who don't read this board and aren't interested in what we say. It is how they vote that would decide any outcome along with KS who could double his stake and give him some credibility with his clients/partners. You may not like 5p and I wouldn't, but reality is cruel and it doubles the current value and some investors will take that, how many I don't have a clue.

I'm not entrenched in a get rich fantasy, I've been shafted too many times. If there's money to be made the big boys will sniff out the kill.

I'll bow to your knowledge but why did Acacia go from below 2.36% to 10.28% on the 16 August. If they havent sold is, that all they ever held ? At what price did they acquire that 2.36% ?
