Im not saying we are stopping R AND D Im saying the money we have isnt being used for R AND D, we arent an R AND D company we need to monetise the products now that we have spend millions on Developing, there is a finite amount of money and we have priorities, making a profit is at the top of the list now after 17 years, the share price going up because we win contracts for 2021 isnt bringing cash in.

R and D will be from VOC voice of customer, I believe there is only so far you can take it and mike also says the competition are just in the demonstration phase.

We are apparently 3 years ahead of any of the competition, maybe we should start making money on the tech we have and then improve it after feedback, its not going in cars til next year mostly, as said before supercruise is 5 years old tech and is deemed the best solution at the moment.

The automotive chip works in combination with the oem system design which is integrated, the same will happen with guardian as it states in the rns fovio is for cars and trucks. The money we raised isnt for r and d so that suggests no g3. We are a software company now thats my view on it, but what do I know.

I dont think there will be a G3 as such because guardian is on fovio for oem production line fitting into trucks this is from the fleet business update from September 2018, it was probably the only good thing on that update.

The FOVIO chip, the Company’s embedded software product for the Automotive and Truck OEM markets, was introduced in 2018 with two automotive program wins and its lower cost allows the Company to deploy into, and scale up in, this high- volume market. The real world, on-road data captured through the Company’s Guardian product has already played an integral role in the development of the FOVIO driver monitoring engine and remains critical to the Company’s ongoing software development.

Toyota were the first to have dms, theyve been recruiting engineers for dms specifically. They plan on selling their guardian and co pilot systems as a plug and play solution so its possible yes. I dont think they use mobileye either.

The have put in a RFQ though I believe so go figure

I dont think the oem will be boxed into a corner, if we are the only ones that can provide operator monitoring it wont be allowed to be the only thing that gets you five stars or else we are in control and they dont like that. Its funny dr mike says if you want to be a five plus or six star car when 5 is the max, are there plans afoot to increase the safety ratings?

We are well known by all the oem, the thing is they wont spend the money until its a priority, its now starting to come to the top of the list and pr wouldnt change that. The sp will respond accordingly and we have hopefully left the potholed roads in the rear view mirror.

Maybe they just think its fab, good on you Geotab. Hopefully its cos we are part of the solution.

Would be great to see an rns or 2 next week to build the momentum and potentially keep it going this time, volume doesnt lie, theres something coming.

Pro pilot has been in the leaf for a while and its in house, they have improved it obviously.

Anticipated doesnt mean will happen, the timelines get moved all the time by these oem and we have been anticipating things before. Baxter is quivering in anticipation or is it shaking in anger? lol
