I agree, I would say most of us are here for more than 10p so regardless what the sp is doing right now we are world leaders and that is continually reinforced by these contract extensions and wins yet to be announced. It is annoying how the price gets halved by mm when its been bad news though. Our time is coming though, thats for sure.

Let’s hope if they issue an rns about euro legislation they mention all cars sold in Europe even though they are from Worldwide oems will need dms, so its much wider reaching than Europe. Hopefully super September this year.

I think we will be licensing to L3, they are into defence as are we and our product is a great addition to their portfolio. They arent short of a bob either. We signed a deal with them in 2018 shortly after they merged with Harris in Oct the same year and I think they/we are ready to kick on and will be in a position to supply the industry as a whole imo.

Considering the price difference in the off road unit and the aviation units my expectation is of more than 20m upfront. Its obviously taking a while to reach an agreeable amount.

Lvl 2+/3 does come its gonna be super popular as sitting in traffic sucks and people will pay to be able to do other stuff instead of getting stressed out crawling along. It will be the catalyst for our takeover I think but seriously exciting times ahead.

I would agree that it is us delivering the dms, bullish statements from our management confirming we are world leaders convince me that they arent using their own dms.

Your theory is based on the auto part of the business only, remember fleet legislation is changing and we are in driving seat there, planes arent gonna stop flying anytime soon and we are also leaders there. We are more of a safe bet in hard times because health and safety will never be compromised.

I think the main thing thats holding us back is funding and a roadmap explaining the licensing, fleet updates and new contracts signed will be enough to get us in a comfortable position. Obviously in 2023 when there are many cars on the road it will be a different kettle of fish altogether.

Do they need it spelt out in capitals? Maybe get O’Donnell to right the next rns lol.
The ip licensing deal must be what is needed to inspire confidence we can make it without more fund raising and would surely rerate us.

I had one, the manifold was designed by computer and in reality it doesnt work properly. The exhaust fumes condense on it before it reaches the dpf which causes a build up of soot. Theyve known about it for at least 2 years and have been working on a fix.

The dms specs will be relative to the lvl of autonomy e.g seye are in cars now and its safer than cars without but cars with lvl 2+ will require our dms. As its only the ct6 that has our tech atm it cant be judged by ncap, so I would say until the systems are tested after 2020 we wont hear anything til then. Most of the present systems rely on the driver to take action and the Subaru dms can be turned off if it becomes annoying lol. Human factors are everything and that is going to be the deciding factor, when the systems become available which learn and dont have false positives whilst running quietly in the background they will obviously score higher and will set the benchmark. Its exciting times and once the cars start coming out the awards and plaudits will come too. Its a while away but it sounds very much like Paul has plans to fill the funding gap until then, once there is that clear strategy presented to the market we should see the raise in the sp.

Interesting he says iso 26262 isnt enough for autonomous, it is going to be the standard until such times something better, great that we are the only ones that have it.
