there has been a recent spike in short levels in GFRD ....still low levels mind you (less than 1%), so IMO its basically people tree shaking / stunting buying activity hoping to convince people to sell off so they can snap them up at a low price later on.

not much more to add over what you put Moss as I think its fair comment, other than the potential chip to the dividend the extra 40m hit "may" have, hence I sold out in the upper 1200's after the CLLN collapse. I guess it comes down to whether you believe the SP drop has priced in those risks or not. For me I think it has, which is why I started to buy back in, but only time will tell whether I am right or not.

Kier and Balfour have not been as badly affected as GFRD - however they are much more exposed to the CLLN aftermath as far as I am aware. It's strange.

seems to me another major player buying in at what they see as low prices. Its difficult to say how much they bought, as the data isn't showing for their previous levels - anyone know if Pheonix were in here before, or if they took the whole 5% on the 22nd? Either way, it looks like 2 big players buying in. I still see it as a bit of a gamble. but its looking more and more mitigated to me, the more big investors take chunks.

you have to say the BOD have done all they can for now until the Q1 numbers come out - with the exception of the Norpalm RNS update.

i've topped up again accordingly..........now fairly close to my previous level where I sold out at 1280p (I think lol?) but now with an average of about 1180p. Huzzah.

bearing in mind the results are around the corner, I think there are games afoot following on from the CLLN effects to walk this down as much as possible for MM's to pick up as many cheaply as possible. I think the results will be pretty good - apart from the legacy nonsense that's already baked in

Obvs where we were in a JV we don't have much choice though.

Agreed it's a temporary contract until Lincs council find another long term contractor, the work req'd also seems low risk and they may well be on a good rate for the work - difficult to tell. But after Aberdeen, the mention of the word bypass gives me palpitations.... I may need my own bypass lol. Anyhoo day is looking like it's going end fairly well all things considered, although if prefer to see a breakout from the 1140's.
