im not sure I agree however that we can necessarily apply a very fine band to this, and declare at 3,500 t everything is fine, but at 3,000 t the world has ended..... a variance of a few hundred t is very small. For me I would expect the number to be between 3-4K, and im hoping nearer 4K.....plus as ive said many times Q4, even Q3 numbers are a little whistling in the wind in the grand scheme of things and I personally wont be extrapolating too much from them. I'll be holding off making any conclusions on anything until I see 2018 Q1 / Q2 figs.

Well before the thread today I was hoping for 4k t, I kept the same number today hoping the extra 1k error from Q3 would bolster my chances of getting to 4k..... however I'll stick to my number even without the q3 carry Over..... although I will admit it's hopeful lol.

ill err on the slightly more conservative side and say 4000 t incl the Q3 offset.

Looking at the 1month curve looks like it's starting to assymptote out about 0.8p, bit of a shame as I'd hoped it would settle at 1p.

What happens to the tonnage error in Q3 that TT spotted? Does that carry over to Q4? If so not sure does that skew the numbers or not? I think anything over 4000 t and the SP would react positively, anything sub 3000 t SP would react negatively .... anything else is prob priced in (IMO).

Yeah it's something like that.... however what we don't know is have they scheduled the lifting every 2 calendar months, or is it done on when Puffin is filled, or when it reaches a certain % capacity.....from what I've seen my guess is every 2 calendar months, in which case it's imminent

Well we're still seeing good buys come in, as soon as the short term profit takers run out this could see the next rung up... my guess is circa 0.9p next.

House-builder Persimmon has reported an increase in revenue in its trading update on Tuesday. Revenue for 2017 were �3.4bn, up 9% on the previous year, with completed deals up by 6% or 872 new homes. The Group's average selling price increased by 3% to �213,300, compared to �206,765 in 2016. Persimmon said it acquired 17,300 plots of new land at "excellent margins" in over 80 locations throughout the UK in 2017. "We remain mindful of market risks including those associated with the uncertainty arising from the UK leaving the EU," the firm said.
