Whilst I agree with getcarter that buying wasn't going to create an upward trend, it's still what we need to maintain some kind of support level between now and the next RNS. Then when we get the next RNS start the next leg up to a new support level.

F15 my concern is pre"exceotional" profits are up.... are they exceptional circumstances when it's now 12months on the trot of it!? ..... anyway my ranting is done, best of luck to all holders

Dips like these are classically a good time to buy, but I have concerns here now and my elastic patience has been snapped. To be honest i don't understand borrowing money to pay dividends, if it's that bad just stop the divi for a year, why cash raise?.... I dunno, maybe I'm wrong, but I get the feeling more and more companies see dividend payment as compulsory regardless of the costs and impacts (look at CLLN).

I'm pretty well cashed out too dubzy.... got a bit in Lloyds and BT but not much and I'll just leave that there ad infinitum... also got a couple of AIMs on the hob...... this is a real shame here, it could be a great business.....but I get the feeling management have their hands in their ears with statements like "everything is on course"! No it isnt or you would be fund raising! If it's a rights issue, I "May" dip my toe in....but not a lot. However, as there is no mention of a rights, my gut tells me this is potentially just a pure dilution.... although that seems like a poor way of cash raising, rights issue would make more sense surely!?

is this 150m a "rights issue"? doesn't look as though that's mentioned, in which case it could just be an issuing of new shares and dilution.

Market will not like this....I tried to bin out straight away buy my firkin broker wouldn't work for 7 minutes. Took another �350 bloody nose. I "may" buy in when it bottoms out today, and take part in the rights issue - but to be frank im getting sick of this share now. The series of "one off" hits just seems to keep coming. In a bad mood, so need to go away and have a brew and chill out before making any further decisions.

Unfortunately not much more to say active until the CPR comes through, so it's another month or two of waiting game I guess..... what's another 2 months, been waiting 10 underwater so far lol ;0)

Seems to me the market is currently pricing in a dividend cut, if not at nearly 10% these prices are nuts. I guess the state of the Aberdeen bypass will govern dividend impacts. I did see a news article on another board that said GFRD are seeking financial recompense from the Aberdeen council as some of the initial delays were a consequence of their inability to cordon off traffic as requested by the JV partners...be interesting to see what, if anything comes of that.

Have been stated as going higher quicker than expected today.... other builders have taken a kick in from that. Interestingly GFRD seem to have avoided the downside so far, and also has outperformed the FTSE 250 and 100 index past couple of days..... "could" be showing markets view of this as cheap?

More relevant builder information : UK housebuilder Bellway expects revenues for the first half of its financial year to rise 14%, after it sold more homes at higher prices. Revenues for the six months to 31 January are set to hit �1.3bn, the company said. The number of housing completions rose 6.3%, while the average selling price climbed 7.8% to a record �276,000. "Market conditions continue to be favourable and customer demand for new homes remains strong," Bellway said.

To get anything like over 3p this would need the mother of CPRs and s great deal of publicity.... the other share I'm with go out of their way to do press interviews etc.... SO does nothing, if you're very lucky an RNS. It needs pumping to the masses

Agreed FK. I actually sold out the couple of grand I bought in the 9p's at 10.9p a while back, and got that lined up should it ever entertains going sub 10p again.....if it doesn't, its all golden as I still have a pretty reasonable holding here. Like you say, if the Q1's are similar to the Q4 just gone, anything sub 11p is a bargain IMO, and looking at the support so far it seems the punters are agreeing.

DOW is picking up, see what tomorrow brings then!

Myself and Bermo voiced that at the time tooold, I would say it's a certainty.... which makes this even worse! If there was a morritorium on releasing news due to the JV legal dispute, that should apply to ALL share holders, not special privileges for rich share holders.

All eyes on DOW and see what that does first and foremost
