Mira, you implied that every buy has a matching sell from someone making a trade, and vice versa. I was simply pointing out that that is simplistic - and often not the case. Market makers will make a market, and one way is by buying when no-one else will. This is an obvious truth and nothing to do with anyones trading policy.

You are, you claim, a rich man. Does it say anywhere in your text books that the SP will only rise when demand exceeds supply? You have deep pockets, allegedly, but possibly very short arms. I had read that as ramping up to 300GWh annual by 2029, ie 10 years from now. I don't see that as a conflict with the initial requirements right now - 30GWh across those two contracts, if Samsung had kept to their end of the agreement. I can easily see VW's EV output ramping up to 10x current output in a decade.

Enormous pressure on VW (and others) to secure Lithium supplies in Europe. Babis cannot stand in the way of that.
