At moments like this I look at the asset, it is surely worth something to somebody in the industry , even if that something turns out not to be what we would like it to be, or thought it would be even a year ago. I think anybody who believes dependency on oil will be switched off quickly is kidding themselves, however it is a fact that some discoveries willl stay in the ground and never be developed, that is the risk to be weighed here.

Hi Flockton, in the absence of a farm in a lot of where the sp goes, and any potential sale value, imo depends on sealion sanction, PMO, which I also hold have an update week after next, I'm hoping they will announce they are selling zama, which should secure sealion fid, if that happens its game on.

I agree this is a gamble I think a huge factor has been shale which has opened up huge onshore production in the last 5 years, but what I read about shale tells me most US shale is still burning cash, how long can that continue, if the shale bandwagon comes to a shuddering halt then much more focus will return to traditional offshore projects.

I'm considering adding a final 50k of shares Monday, we are reaching a critical point, if we cant get a farm in surely they will just try to sell the company lock stock and barrel. Even a bid of 30m would make a good profit at this sp.

I get the impression from the trend of sales that at least some people are giving up on this.

Flockton, for me the next update in September is crucial, if they haven't secured progress on a farm in by that time, then surely that process is exhausted for the foreseeable and they have to set out an alternative plan.

Looking at pmo rns s recently fid is still on track before end of the year, maybe sooner if they monetize zama.

Yes good weather and managed to avoid the traffic, just waiting for rkh and pmo to sort themselves out which hopefully will be soon, intrigued as to what pmo may do with zama, will they monetize it to pay off debt and fund sealion, or will they not need to, exciting times ahead I think.
