Everyone just waiting, this is still a risky play but my confidence would be far lower were it not for the buy in of ADB and the Newlands, however the next update due at the end of this month really MUST show some progress, we know the board have got very close before, it is though now a case of now or never.
Good post Gus, but just one small correction, Rapier was retired almost two years ago and replaced with the state of the art Sky Sabre anti air missile system, many times more capable than Rapier, and the Falklands was the first place it was operational for the British Army.
Chessmaster, I have re read the rns and I had read it wrong, I accept that, although I am sure I read other posters on here referring to the decision being due within 30 days so maybe I got it from there. As to your other comments attributed to me such as "Italy will never pay" it is clearly you who is discombobulated because I have never said any such thing, nor have I ever moaned about my investment decisions so I suggest you are more careful before accusing people in the future.
Market Dealer, you really should stick to what you know rather than what you guess, although judging by your posts what you know would be a very short list. I am not going to get further into BOR on here, partly because its the wrong place and partly because no defence is necessary, you are the poster being vilified on at least two posting boards, not me.......THAT IS FACT NOT OPINION, please learn the difference.
I apologise MD for the second part of my post, it was uncalled for, but three times today you have posted rubbish saying no oil company has ever shown interest in Darwin....THAT IS A BLATANT UNINFORMED LIE.....and if you read my post this morning I have proved it to you. I have no intention of wasting my time trawling back through old rns to find it but it is there.....now give it a rest.
No one has shown any interest since Borders existed......... another statement made as though it was a fact which is demonstrably untrue. Around 2014 in one of the scheduled updates the Board advised that they had agreed commercial terms on a farm out only for it to not proceed at the last minute due to a change in external factors......unless of course you are accusing the board of lying to the market.
Presumably by posting that response you accept that your facts are not actually facts and you have indeed got nothing better to do than argue on these boards. Post whatever meaningless reply you want, but I wont respond further, I am frankly bored now and wont be wasting any more of my time on you.
Oh dear, you say the post facts yet in quoting things like 97/3 and 95/5 you are just speculating like everyone else, that is not a fact, a fact is something that can be shown to be true. You seem to have nothing better to do with your time than argue on these boards........I feel genuinely sorry for you.
McCloughry, It is the committee considering the annulment which has lifted the stay, so if the committee is happy for the stay to be lifted that would carry huge weight with any court as a counter argument to what you are saying.
To me the thing that stands out like a sore thumb is at 26000 bpd and assumed oul price of 60 dollars, initial project payback is in under TWO YEARS. Sorry for using caps but I felt that needed drawing attention to, this must happen surely.
