I am well aware thaf the announcement of a farm is unlikely to be made in a "scheduled" update, however I am genuinely fascinated as to what the next update will tell us....I think it could be for me the most crucial update I can remember.

olivetti, this is not 1982, the mount pleasant air base is a game changer, fast jets and reinforcements can now be there in hours if needs be.....providing our government doesnt **** it up, which i grant you with this lot is a big if.

When brightspot talks about a 25 to 50% premuum I think he is forgetting that the controlling interest in this company is held by five or six shareholders.....I dont see them accepting a deal like that.

When Divi reincarnated himself about a year ago in one of the first posts he made he said he "was done with the falklands oilies".......so as soon as he started posting again I filtered him, having confirmed himself as a liar. I have others filtered for the same reason, I have no cause to converse with proven liars.....so I dont.

LTT, you said we have heard nothing of merit for 11 months..... I have provided examples proving that we have been told things we didnt previously know....that is demonstrable fact not opinion, I also believe the confirmation of interest from tier 1 companies is a very significant disclosure, if you dont that is entirely up to you. I am not sure what more they could say without breaking confidentiality until the deal is done.

I disagree somewhat with your premise LTT, there was an update at the end of september which told us things we hadnt previously known, like the confirmation of interest from tier 1 companies and that the investment bank was making progress.

Worth pointing out that Mogger also posted on here in Sept 2024 inferring that the licences would not be renewed.........just prior to their renewal being confirmed a month later....that is not opinion but fact.

If you were responding to me mogger it should be obvious by now that I have you filtered because I place no value on your view.....its also likely that AI will make your role of finding stuff redundant......I look forward to that.

The intellectual rights / data are owned by whoever issued the licence?......I am really not sure you are right about that, the seismic data and development information were paid for by Borders and I am sure I have read that they would remain their property in that circumstance.

Blatav, everyone is entitled to their view but it does make me chuckle a bit, our biggest shareholder increasing two months ago is apparently a side issue. The "fact" that the licence is due to expire at the end of 2026 has been true since it was renewed in December 2024....and will be true until it is cancelled or extended. You then credit Mogger for finding an agenda showing that it was discussed....I would be surprised if it wasnt discussed, so what insight has he actually provided?.....its no different to me picking up a newspaper on a train and reading the headline, all he has said is what is in the public domain, but good luck to you, we all have the right to make our own decisions.

I have him filtered Gus, and have done for a long time, I dont like liars, and I proved to him that is what he was so he has no credibility with me. I stand by my assessment that ADB knows far more about what is going on here than anyone posting on the RKH board. It may still come to nothing, but that is our call to make.

Mogger back is he?.......another of the smart arse rumour mongerers from the RKH board who think we should believe their views on a share they dont even own.

I accept that he could not dump his holding probably even if he wanted to, but as of two months ago he was still adding...so not even standing pat..... but actually committing more funds. My view is very simple, and it doesnt rely on some of the clever technical arguments some on the RKH site like to make, because it isnt a technical point, to me its common sense......whom do I think is more likely to have a better view of what is actually going on, someone like ADB with his position and family connections to our chairman?....or people commenting on the RKH chat board?

LTT, I didnt mention anything about licence extensions, just my own strategy for the next few months. However since the issue of licences has been raised what do you think will happen to ADB's holding if they are not renewed? He was still adding as of a couple of months ago, do you think he will just kiss goodbye to his investment? Even at an sp of 10p a fund raise to keep the lights on would only result in a very minor dilution, to me it would be far more of a worry to see ADB start to divest his holding, and there is no sign of that.

FID for sealion is for me the real point at which the clock started ticking, they have until well into H2 2026 before I might start to reassess.
