Another year almost gone Anth and I know what you mean, trouble is most of us long termers are committed to seeing this through to the end...whatever that is, I still have hope, primarily because our relatively new significant shareholders are not idiots, but really would like to see some movement, the result of the annulment on the RKH court case is due by end of Q1 2024 I believe, if this is positive maybe it will give us a lift. ATB
He isnt, because it will go down like a lead balloon at home, the claim wont change, but the posturing and language might, his Foreign minister was a lot more conciliatory, maybe she went beyond her brief.
Argentina has always got their attitude to the Islands wrong, and that is because their string of useless leaders have always used it as a good distraction to internal domestic chaos, you dont persuade people to "join you" by bullying them and threatening their home, you co operate with them show them you can be a grown up country and maybe.....just maybe, in a generation or two they might change their minds......but we wont be around to see it.
You listed the companies as potential partners for BOR, that was the point, its curious that by talking to potential partners operating in Argentina you think Aramco would then look at the Falklands and potentially jeopardise that, as for BHP they were warned off the Islands by the argentine government and walked away in 2010, which is part of the point. .....doesnt alter the fact that your original post just reeled off a list of names, obviously unresearched, expecting I wouldnt respond.....my filter awaits :)
POC, a few of your names surprised me so I had a quick look, according to the international trade website Chevron and Petronas are major global operators operating in argentina, Aramco actually hosted a doing business with Aramco convention in Buenos Aires earlier this month, Harbour exited the FIs at great cost and I would be staggered if they then did an about face, as far as I can see Valero are refiners not producers. There are companies like Marathon who as far as I can see have no presence in South America, although they might be far more likely to go for Argentina shale. BHP have always surprised me because Obee used to work there, but you do have a tendency to just "wing it" with some of your posts which doesnt help anyone....you may be going in filter again.
I feel sorry for you MD, you seem to have nothing better to do than try to annoy people on these boards, and yes I can call you an idiot if you cannot read a properly constituted sentence and grasp its meaning, something I am quite able to do. I will spell it out to you, you accused someone of posting false information about buys, I pointed out you cannot possibly know that to be true, stick to what you know and our conversations will be a lot shorter and more polite, and incidentally I have been here long enough that a dont give a tuppenny damn what you or anyone else think of BOR.
MD, if you posted actual facts I would not mind, but you dont, you are simply in no position to contradict someone who says they have bought or sold, unless you have access to their trading account, which clearly you dont......now that my friend is a fact....see the difference?
Everyone just waiting, this is still a risky play but my confidence would be far lower were it not for the buy in of ADB and the Newlands, however the next update due at the end of this month really MUST show some progress, we know the board have got very close before, it is though now a case of now or never.
