Crikey, looking at today two words spring to mind....toys and prams.....I really hope this board doesnt become like some others.

Its so funny how so many who criticise cannot see the similarity in their own behaviour, anyway Im filtering you now.

So Paul, you admit you have done exactly what you are accusing someone else of......gone onto another board to start or continue an argument.

Paul I notice you didnt attempt to address my point as to why Dr Sean Guest would come on board and risk tarnishing his reputation with a company that is going nowhere. Maybe you dont know as much as you think, nobody has ever said this share is without significant risk. Also as far as I can see from your original post your reason for coming on here is because of a childish poster who infests both these boards presumably hacking you off on the rkh board....so your response is to come on here and pick fights with others who have nothing to do with him....yet you call others childish...lol.

The fact is the next update will in all likelihood be before the end of september, we know funding is a rolling 24 month issue, but up to now shareholders, including new ones, have been supportive, I also dont see why someone like Dr Sean Guest would want to associate himself with a company which is going nowhere, that doesnt mean anything is certain, but it doesnt mean its dead either so I will happily take his view over yours Paul.

I dont think its particularly strange, I would think most here have been through thick and thin with this share, and by historic standards 2.3p isnt particularly thin, I think most here have accepted the risk and are happy to hold.

We have had some rampers and derampers on this site in the past, and a couple who have done both in quick succession, it tends to happen when we get spikes, but fortunately I think most here are keenly aware of the risks as well as the potential rewards.

Thanks for that Gus, we will see what the next update brings, or even before, next scheduled is end Sept so only two months.

Interesting development Gus, its tough to know what to ask that would be significant but not result in them just saying that it is privileged information. In general terms I would mike to know if they feel the company is closer to being able to monetise Darwin now than they were 12 months ago and if possible give an example of why.

I agree Anth, the whole lot are dire, things in the world are more dangerous now than since the cold war, yet we have no competent leaders anywhere it seems.

This is the first time in my adult life Nigel that the prospect of a labour government has seriously worried me, at least I could look at many of the politicians in Blairs cabinet and admit they were competent, even if I didnt agree with their politics, this lot are a long long way from competent.

Is it the general consensus here that we will get some sort of transformational news prior to us needing another cash raise, just curious what people think

Nigel, I will do you a deal, you maybe try to not be so patronising when responding to a simple question and I may indeed be more polite with my tone...which those on here know I usually am. What I was asking was no different to looking at a horse race and saying which one you favour, and if you are saying you dont have an opinion then I am really not sure why you are here commenting.

So from an investors point of view you have no opinion as to whether ADB being here is a positive thing or not, no one is asking you to be "certain" assessing prospects is not asking for certainty, if you wait for certainty in life the chance is you will decide to do very little. The fact that you wont offer an opinion tells me all I need to know.

Nigel, you always seem to be stating the negative, nothing wrong with balance but since you seem to concentrate on the pitfalls I have a simple question for you, do you think the prospects for ordinary shareholders of Borders like myself are better or worse as a result of ADBs involvement and stakebuilding, there is no cop out answer, one or the other must be true.

Surely this stake building cannot be ignored forever, he has learnt though, when he first started buying over two years ago he tried to accumulate too quickly and the sp shot to almost 8p
