Well it is short on specifics Anth as you point out, I think what people are keying on is change in the terminology being used but that could be just down to a new ceo as I said in my post yesterday. I think things are going to move in the FIs over the next six months and having waited this long I am prepared to wait a little longer, but like you I would have liked more substance.

Things do appear to be moving in the right direction, albeit not as fast as we might like, not sure how much attention to pay to "new language or terminology" since we have a new CEO who just may have a dfferent way of putting things, but the dividend comment was a bit surprising, in a good way.

I also dont think the west is blameless in this for reasons already mentioned and the EUs brazen attempt to pull Ukraine into its sphere of influence starting just over a decade ago. As for joining NATO, apart from clearly provoking Russia I cannot see how Ukraine joining is in any way in Nato's interests....they should just have been told a flat no.

You keep talking about hedging Nigel but the principle of that is that someone else takes the risk, with an all or nothing share like border in practical terms I am not sure how easy or economic that would be.

Well not long to wait until next update and we will find out what they have been doing for the last eight months. I note the ADB connection with interest, we will see what it means, there must surely be some movement in the falklands in H2 2024, Navitas were targeting first oil in late 2026.

Its tough to watch Rookie, but only news will move this significantly, be it our own or likely a smaller boost on RKH Navitas FID.
