Is it a bit rich for AAA and Candy to state that they are not willing to accept anything less than £25 for their shares but they expect us to accept £12 in a mixture of shares and cash for our own holding

Other bidders will be flushed out, but there is intent by AAA and Candy to vote against other bidders unless the bid is at least £25. {In effect ...You either sell the company to us at £12 a share or we will make life difficult for you!}

AAA and Candy will only support any counter offer of £25 or greater. Luckily AAA and Candy only account for about 26% of BOOM share holding... I suppose enough to block any counter proposal which needs a 75% acceptance.

BOOM however do not need to agree to this offer and I feel pretty sure they would be advised not to by their adviser. If AAA and Candy can only accept counter offers of £25 or more, it means that BOOM is worth at least £25 a share to them, so why are they making a low ball offer? They are just being opportunistic.

I was thinking along the same line >> licensing the use. depending on how good the tech is a competitor may just buy out BOOM just to get hold of the capability to be able to monetize podcasts even if they are several years old.

What I don't know is if there are similar tech in the market being used by any of the big players, though I have not heard of such. [ Not an expert so can't definitely say one way or the order. What I do know is that this will definitely make a contribution to Audioboom's revenue going forward.]

Based on today's RNS , I am now forecasting that this company has a potential to touch £25+ in the future, ( not tomorrow or next week!! ...but definitely within 18 months at most.).

With Ad-Tech insertion now contributing more +9% of revenue this year up from less than 5% of revenue last year. There will always be more back catalogue that new and current podcasts, so efficient monetisation of back catlogue will bring real value.

This new AdRip seems to be the very thing to provide this kick to the revenue. Furthermore this tech is proprietary,; automated ( no need to add extra heads for this to work), >>>> all of which makes the company more appealing to potential acquirers.

Your line that it can't go any lower made me smile. It reminded me of a video of an investing presentation by Warren Buffet , where he names some of the investing mistakes that some investors make.
'...It can't get any lower was on of them..'. [ He states that a share can always go to zero.]
To balance that he also mentioned:
It has risen too much as an investing mistake. [If a share is fully supported by fundamentals then it can always keep rising until it finds its value.]
Just an amusing recollection and nothing to suggest that EQT is either a good or a bad investment. You pay your money and you take your choice.

Just for balance I would not say the company is worth less.
People just need to realise that they have to be patient.
1. They have a Tech that is fairly validated.
2. They are in a good sector.
3. they have the financial strength to take to to profitability or at least a cash runway of 3 years.

I do not believe that they will be 10p by year end but I expect them to do well. I have take a small holders compared to my other holdings and will come back in about 18 months.
Anyway that's me out of this BB till then.

For those that did not get the joke, not many serious investors invest in any company based on rating from a company paid for write up, even if they misname the write up as a research note. It is as trustworthy as me giving myself a reference.[ It is useful for a research however]. Unfortunately independent research will costs you money.

At the bottom of these assumed research note is always these message, which most people in their enthusiasm never bother to read.

Yes we can get a car to fly but I don't see that becoming practical anytime soon. It is bad enough people trying to maintain their lanes on a normal car. Imagine about 40,000 of these flying about in the air over Glasgow city. Should be fun, better than dodgems, except more lethal with the crashes.

This is not to say that over time EQTEC will not do well but I personally believe we need to readjust our expectations for this year. DP is doing all he can to get things moving but when you are dealing with other companies you will find that you do not have much control on speed of things.
DP expected about 6 Financial close this year with a revenue of about 15 Mil. since this statement we have only had 1 financial close. Looking at all the outstanding projects I cannot for the life of me see any that is close for the next month. I can only think of perhaps the Croatia proposition.

Hence a lot more patience is needed if you have faith in the technology, put in your bottom drawer and wait for events to start catching up. On the plus side , the company have enough money now for at least 2 years of loss making so no further dilution expected.

Just my view, thus I am not here watching the daily fluctuation of the share price. I have not betted the house so I can afford
to wait even 3 years for it start doing something , even if it takes that long. My initial concern was risk of further dilution especially with 8 billion shares already in circulation and almost another 1 Billion in warrants and options.

I am not sure if the Ntock exchange rules are different for companies registered abroad but are the management alowed to buy shares close to year end ?
Are they not supposed to be in lock down period now, since they already have market sensitive information, FY21 performance, which may make any purchase an insider trading?

Will appreciate comment from anyone that knows the rules as applies to foreign registered company, though it does not add much to discussion about the merits or de-merits of investing in SEE.

I fully expect another upgrade when they release the results for Q3. It is clear that the upgrades are very conservative but I suppose it is better to keep it low and surprise on the upside than disappoint.
Most people expected them to smash the previous upgrade and now they have booked over 99% of that upgrade which means that they already have a booked revenue of over $40Mill. Q4 is the best quarter seasonally and they still have not released the premium adverts for Q4, so my expectations this year is for a revenue of about $50Mill.

With entry into the Micro-Cap index, this means that some funds that track this index will be investing in Audioboom which may explain the scramble for shares in the company.

With this kind of growth trajectory, I would expect more Micro-cap tracking funds to try to invest in the company and that will push the price higher as there is just not enough shares around.

If Audioboom has not been acquired by this time next year, then I would not mind if they do a share split. [My expectation is that we will have been acquired as there are less and less independent podcast companies of note. ]
A share split will bring more liquidity to the shares, makes it easier to trade and the share price less frightening.
A 16Mill shares in issue is fairly small for a company so a meagre market cap of about £300 Mill will translate to a frightening £20 share price.

The current TO projection for this year now puts the acquisition target price north north of £20.
This sounds crazy ....mainly because I can hardly believe that myself. I am not supposed to have a share worth £20 a pop!
Easier to envisage if you look at if from a market cap perspective and that would mean an Audioboom market cap of just North of £300Mil. Plenty of penny stocks with billions of share worth more than that even though they have a price between between 1-2p.

The high share price is a direct function of the fact that there are only 16 Million shares outstanding. If we had 100,000,000 share outstanding and the share price was £3.20 no one will bat an eyelid or think it was crazy.

I believe this has still far to go based on a few indicators:
1. None of the significant holders thinks it is time to cash in so they clearly still expect significant uplift from here.
2. Management still acquiring shares so again they feel that it is still very good value.
3. Share price fully justified else management would have been forced to make a statement to the market that they see no reason for the sudden price increase over the last few days. That is the normal expectation by the stock market when a stock share price runs ahead of itself.

I believe once US comes online this will head higher today.
