Minerals up gkencore one of the biggest drops.
2.00 seems like a distant dream. What is driving this down.

I just hope its a fall based on the above and not that the small rise of the past few days was only based on the FTSE rising and now as the FTSE starts is fall as it should given the state of affairs with covid, recession, brexit, huge unemployment on the way etc etc will Glencore just fall faster. I hope and that there is a rebound but not sure what the catalyst will be weighing up the positives and negatives with no div, huge debt, litigations and low profit margins. Want to be hopeful so would welcome optimistic views

There seems to be a pattern forming with Glencore where it has a ruse in the early trade and then sinks for the rest of the day and has a swing of up to 5%. What is causing this.

The paying down of debt should be asking as this is what its used for and not to pay out bonuses to the greedy few. Given it shouldbegoodnewzwhy is it tanking every day since. Confused

can go up on good news or down under £1.00 when news is crap as it currently is and short sellers dig in deep and make money off others misery. Just hope there is some good news soon to assist the share price up and the shorts lose out

Could be wrong but what happens when an overvalued US market comes down to earth. Sitting at over 27000 yet things are worse than when thd pandemic started. Glencore seems so closely tied to the US market. It could dive. Add to that the litigation and debt I can't take the chance of losing big time. Hope I am wrong for those holding

hate to admit defeat but I fear another 2008 for glencore and dont want the same result I had then. They are being dumped. They should have paid the divedend but not appear to have nothing left to offer. If they can only muster 2.8b profit on 198b sales there is a real problem and debt 19b.

seems like its going only 1 way. I am a fan of Glencore but am amazed by the gains yesterday and the falls today. Just needs to find some sort of support for those on level 2 is there any indication to when the carnage may stop

Neilhumphrey. + 20% profit. Even the shares based on current price of 96p you bought all your shares at 80p.when were the shares 80p. Never thought they reached this low

any news on the dividend. If they are looking to achieve top end profits then surely the dividend can be paid

I had these during the 2008 crisis and watched them go down to 50p before panicking that I may lose it all and sold and lost 25k. Then to watch them come back strongly. This time I will look to recover some of that loss when the share bounces. The only problem glencore has is its high debt but its a powerhouse and I would expect to see 2 20+ sooner rather than later. This is a stock I am not worried about, just frustrated that in the UK no matter what news there is shares tumble whilst in the states where we get out lead the country is in a dogs breakfast state and the markets are strong.

Problem is when Glencire also announce poor results will it continue.

if Barclays loses this and has to pay out 7 figures what will happen to the share price.

what is he earning to deliver negative share value.

Not aure why I would expect anything other than massive fall in this share given its the same each time they report. Every time Stanley makes a reporting statement it sounds good but the markets react badly. Wonder why.

Dare say other banks reporting will drag this down further.

Unfortunately until the bank does the right thing and stop bonuses until dividends are reintroduced things won't change.

Past 2 weeks Glencore has a upward movement but is immediately sold off and falls back. Hope the news s is positive on Friday but seems as if the big players do not want this up above 187 as each time it does it heads back to the low 180s and not too sure why

Let's just hope that if they suspend dividends they also suspend bonuses for the directors. What's is the consensus on results. Given the drop in SP over the oast 6 months it will be factored in to be a poor set

Peers are all holding their own. Down marginally. Glencore has dropped 6% since yesterdaya lunch time. What has changed. 2.00 is getting further away.
