I trade on the IG platform . They pay the dividend on the day it goes ex div well before the day its paid by the company.i pay my own taxes on all profits each year althoughi have to say the past 2 have been losses with nothing of substance to buy hence the uk market has well and truly gone to the dogs.

I have just checked with IG and the share offer will apply to CFD holders the same as shareholders. Juat to make you aware that CFD holders DO receive dividends on any CFDs held the same as shareholders. If you have along position you receive the dividend and if a short position you pay thd dividend. This has been the case since is started trading CFDs 10 years ago. Trades in 100s of companies.

If you want to make money out of almost all of the FTSE 100 companies and well known uk companies in the past 2 years years in the UK then it would have been with short positions and I am opposed to shorting stocks. The FTSE is weak and unwanted. Its just a matter of how much worse it will get before other countries see opportunities. Doesn't look good given to companies on the FTSE trying to attract investors. Very little attractiveness there. Lets see if Boris leaves the EU today without a deal. If he doesn't I hope the EU throw Britian out so there can be closure and rebuilding.

Every day is the same. Peers in the blue upgrades for supermarkets while MKS gets closer every time it reports to the one that will not survive out of all the supermarkets. What are they doing so wrong to be constantly sold off

I can't see any news as to why this had such a drop do suddenly. Seemed to coincide with Johnson speaking. I know it has grown over the past few days but what a fall. What did I miss

the swing is scary and I think a clear picture of just How little the markets have confidence in this company and its board is evident. Peers are all doing well while MKS creeps lower each day. What is the latest of many endless reasons this is tanking.

is this based on anything more than hope. The share ends in the red or close to open and won't get a run. Why would it rise 60% in 4 days.

I am simply saying that there is pattern with these companies that go bust. Sometimes rights offers are a way of kicking the can down the road ireally hope your right as i am holding these in my SIPP. Thomas cook had a rights issue and soon after went by must as it simply wasn't enough. Lets see what happens when rents are due. If these reached 1.86 I would be more than happy. Goid luck
