the board needs to focus on the failing business they have and not look at other acquisitions. They have already lost 84% of shareholder value in 5 years. £6 to £1. Just useless. Day 5 of falls and looking more likely to head south unless a miracle happens to turn this around. I dread to think what will happen when the FTSE actually falls if it can't even rise when the FTSE gains

No not a short seller have shares and want the company to do well. No generalising here, just look at the facts of the past 4 years with declining sales, poor margins, losing market share consistently every quarter declining share price every year increased debt levels every year and the same strategy every year. Just to say they well good food and have a deal with Ocado is generalising. Everyone has a good home delivery service already. Let's hope they can come up with a winning formula but if they keep the current course nothing will change.

Markets turned positive but makes no difference to MKS. Still heading south 5th day on a row. Said it before until they bring in a CEO who has vast experience running a company the SP will be savaged. It used to trade between £3 and£4. Now cannot hold £1.00. Next shares are wanted, supermarkets shares are doing well so why us it that Marks has been going down the tube year after year. The board are in denial of what the public want and keep trying to revamp clothing and home. Let's hope it can bounce later but even when the markets move up MKS moves south.

Unless something happens to find support this is heading to the low 90s quickly. Short sellers having a field day at present with risky stocks and MKS is a risky bet. Something needs to happen and fast. Let's hope it can turn around soon. Just no support for the 3rd day running

Seems like a high amount of short selling and this is when the stock is almost as low as its been. Just came back from the high street. Low footfall but MKS almost empty. The CEO needs to earn his 1m + salary and come up with a workable plan to add shareholder value. This is ridiculous. Almost A 10% fall in 2 days. Just in freefall at the moment

What has happened to MKS since yesterday morning.reavhed around 1.14 and then its just selling off and the price is falling . The share seems to have no support and even yesterday when the FTSE powered along the share price dropped. Was there some news out there I have missed??

Have to disagree around board experience. The current CEO may have been with the company for 25 years but he is clearly out of his depth in this role and under his watch the SP has dropped almost 75% and this is his only consistency. The direction has not changed and his strategy has been unsuccessful almost 100% of the time . Every time there is a reporting of results he tries to dress up a pig and the markets respond the same way each time with a selloff and downgrade after downgrade. He sticks with clothing range that no one wants and cant compete. In the real world he would have been sacked along time ago but who would want to go into the role after the company has been decimated. Instead it's just one set of poor results after anotherwhiledent mounts and revenue and turnover fall bot sure what canbeing the company back. I hold agood number of shares and CFDs in MKS so want them to succeed but losing hope each timebad news comes out.

Never pay any attention to what they come out with. Another poor day looming for MKS. Low volume but buyers are focussing on bargains and MKS is risky. Worst part is they have no experience. Average board experience is 2.5 years and it shows with poor strategy after poor strategy. Even with upgrades and the FTSE having a good day is has dropped almost 5% off daily highs. Something is seriously wrong with The company and until experience comes in cant see much hope. Just look forward to when a rally comes but who knows when.

Sinking ro the bottom of the FTSE and all because of Switzerland starting criminal proceedings against Glencore around corruption. I hope either they are not guilty or someone goes to prison. Too often the board and those at the top simply walk away with bonuses in tact and shareholders pay the price. If guilty start making examples to change the behaviour at the top of big companies where they individuals are never held to account. Hopefully some good around the corner but heading south again quickly unfortunately. Brokers downgrading to overweight so not a good few weeks but it can all change quickly.

Another court case rather 2008 crisis. Would believe her any day of the week. Barclays senior executives were so concerned about losing their bonuses they would have sold their mothers down the stream. If successful any claim should come straight out of these executives pockets and not Barclays capital. These guys should be banned from holding any position where integrity is required.

What a poor few days for the markets led by america as always. They must be totally insane if they thought they had covid 19 under control and that they will not be on their knees economically sooner than later. Recent gains disappearing but will come back. Looks like the Dow will fall by 1000 today. Glencore following suit but painful to watch. Will comeback but worrying how far it will fall if tracking the US.

I traded Glencore during the 2008 financial crisis and watched them fall to around 70p before selling and losing around 30k. I then watched them rally to incredible levels. I wont make the same mistake again. They are a world powerhouse and will continue to rally as demand grows. China will be looking to start building again. Will sell this time when they are around 3.00.

Haven't heard of a rights issue but will it simply believe kicking the can down the road. They had great start to the day but as is the case most days the profit taking took hold and the sell off continues. Resistance not found and support shaky. Really needs agood day tomorrow and support found or it's a bigger fall to mid 20s.

Poker chips. Bit personal. No neither condition applies but thanks for asking. As I said dont see them lasting but hope they recover for those holding. No need to enter into further conversation. Just watch the space and if you're happy to invest then do so. I will move on to focus on shares which carry less risk. Good luck

There is a very good reason Card Factory is underperforming. Clearly you cannot see it

Even on a good day for the FTSE card factory still heads south.
Cant imagine it will be too long before they go into administration. Every man and his dog are dumping the stock. Even the board have stopped buying. Cannot see any way back for them now. Past junk stock.

Having gone from 1.80 to almost 30p in the past few months it's pretty clear Card Factory is history.
Just 30p more and it's another casualty. This should not take too long I suspect as there are no green shoots out there just the constant selloff of the stock. Their declining chart is so similar to all of the casualties over the past few years and the obvious stand out is that they simply never have an upward breakout it's all new lows.
I should have seen it earlier but kept holding out for some hope. An 80% drop in SP isnt a correction it's a warning
