SORRY 50%. March 18th trading at £1.80 and now less than 90p. Other supermarkets are almost back to where they were. Morrisons and Tesco in particular.

Morrisons and tesco have recovered most of their losses since Feb. Sainsburys close. Mks down more than 100%. Dosent take much to see they are barely hanging in there and losing more ground each day. The brokers upgraded are meaningless when the sell off continues. All it shows is that they are motivated by their upgrades or downgrades. There are no sense checks around their statements. If there were we would not see such vast differences in their figures.

That was said about Woolworths, thomasCook, carillion and many others. It looks cheap but the price doesn't always come back up and in the early stages of the above companies going bust many brokers were saying what a cheap price.

I am sure MKS will survive but dont get sucked in by price.

Just continuing its falls. Another 5%. If the Ocado news was good and the upgrade positive then I guess the question is why is this share tanking 4 days out of 5. The competition in in the food business is doing well but not MKS

Again as a small shareholder cannot I fluence what the institutions do but I am amazed that they have accepted poor results year after year and still accept the same turn around plan

They clearly must know something I dont so I hope they are right.

Bad day all round but its fallen below the £. Just hope it can find some support later or it will fall quickly to 90p. Banks are being hammered again. Seems like good news bad news or no news, FTSE rising or falling this sector is still the most unloved of all and uf there is any chance to punish the sector it's taken. As the economy goes back to 2008 levels I just hope Barclays can act responsibly this time around and not inflict further pain on investors for the next 10 years. I dont think they have learnt too many lessons as a company since 2008 but hopefully I will be wrong and shareholder value returns. Just never see any positive headlines coming out about the company

just keep trying to revitalise a product no one wants

Their results will be a disaster with the usual ga justifications.How are they going to move the current stock.

The CEO has wasted enough time on what doesn't work perhaps they can replace him with one who can make things happen and not be constantly behind the competition and offering the same excuses on the day of reporting.

If it breaches 1.00 again I think the next support will be 90. Let's just hope it can hold

If Mks results are once again behind those of tesco sainsburys and morrisons surely there will be changed at board level. The current CEO simply has no workable plan and he will simply destroy the remaining shareholder value. I am sure he will talk about his transformation plan as always and try to defend his track record but this speaks for itself. Just too big a role for him and the board. Do something before it's too late

Am I correct in that when the CEO took over in 2016 the SP was over £3.50 a share and Mks were firmly in the FTSE 100. The SP is now over 75 % lower, no dividend and out of the FTSE 100.
Either really bad luck, really bad choice or a company doomed before he took over. which one is it?? Either way to have such a great track record to still accept full pay does speak volumes not just about the CEO but also those above him. Especially when the dividend is gone.

The institutional investors are at fault for approving their strategy, executive pays and bonuses, but when they probably have short positions they are happy to see incompetence continue as the share price falls and they win.

I know the markets are factoring in just how bad the results will be but as a company they have nowhere to go. Losing market share result after result. No airline meals wit BA, a clothing and home range that is not viable or in demand and should have been scrapped a long time ago and mountains of debt. The board have simply continued with the same strategy. Out of the FTSE 100 and the way they are going will be worthless. Even on a day where the market is strong it tanks. Not sure if there is future unless they totally change their model. As a shareholder I am concerned. Are they past the point of return.

Usual rise after posting results followed by the usual 10 - 15% drop. Now falling to new lows. The recent gains are ancient history. Citigroup is probably the most realistic target price 1.06.

It's always the way. I am sure they work hard but clearly it doesn't take much intelligence to come out with the same old same old. Our clothing isnt wanted and we are restructuring. Clearly they should be paid a modest salary with incentives around KPIs including the delivery of shareholder value but the fact that a full salary is taken while the shareholders suffer would indicate a problem.

Same old story for Barclays. If the FTSE has a strong start Barclays will follow but eventually all gains are lost and it usually heads south. currently heading for daily lies. I just hope it can find some level of support before the results on weds as once they are shared Barclays has a tendency to open well but drop 5% lets hope this will be different but I cannot see any reason to be cheery.
Hope I am wrong . One thing for sure is that the institutions are not piling in and buying and driving the price up.

Barclays is once again dropping. There were suggestions of 1.20 by Friday. Not so instead more than 25% lower. Not sure what the 1 20 was based on. Fallen again under the 90p support. Long term the bank may come back once they clean up their act but its clearly on it's way down and not up. Needs a really good set of figures next week to move but usually even with good results given within a few hours analysts pick holes though the report and the SP tanks. Maybe next week will be different. Let's hope so.
