cheers..unfortunately, I did it on the spur of the moment with no set-out questions and wrote it off the top of my head immediately afterwards, so missed a few things off and there were questions in the cold light of day I would have liked to have asked, but anyway, I just wanted to hear for myself this "very near future" bit..

With one quite recent previous UNCITRAL case (Rurelec), they were told it was going to be about 6 weeks before a decision was released..the company announced this in an RNS..so timescales can be known. And, I think Oxus will have been told that it's in the final stages/being written up/ next to be released etc etc

Well since , to my horror, Mr Wilkins and Capt Shead now (wrongly) believe that I refer to them as the Goldfish and Washerwoman respectively - or is that Washerwoman and Goldfish... I hope that any special dividend out of this will not be now weighted against us due to the gilled-gaffe and clothes cleaning cringe. I actually sent an e-mail to the company late last night, as the moment I realised what they thought I nearly died of embarrassment! I think, Schofield, this has blown my chances of being the official Oxus PR man, although I am willing to take it like a man (or fish) and be known as "Herringhead"..."Codbreath" .."Rakeface"...etc etc around the office and live in a small bowl in the corner of the room. Regarding Goldfish (generally) there is some nobility in having a Latin name of Carassius Auratus although I can't find any similar well meaning term for WasherWoman - But i do have the utmost respect for those who clean clothes (Thanks mum)

Oh Lord ! It's just suddenly hit me why Mssrs Wilkins and Shead were annoyed with me when I called today..oh dear, cringing. I've just realised that they thought my post about phoning to talk to the Goldfish/Washerwoman and Secretary was referring to them (washerwoman and goldfish...argghh...no no no!) If you're looking in lads, that was just a flippant and irreverent reference to anon who might be passing by and randomly pick up the phone in the office ( I hopefully explained the goldfish/ Koy Carp reference earlier).. Oops, and apologies. Genuinely hadn't even crossed my mind until now what you might have been thinking. BUT everyone , it does show how regularly they've been looking in - because from my telling Schofield I was going to call there was literally 5 minutes max..and Captain Shead and Wilko had both seen the message board referring to the planned call - and the asked me if I was Pettycash basically within the first few sentences. Oooops again. Cringe.

Yes it does take a bit of time...and I think Mr W and RS are still in the long process of appreciating it.. ;o) I believe they will in the very near future though

No probs...I should have done it ages back, but couldn't be a**ed, but anyway, it was good to actually talk to them after all this time - and if you're watching Mr W , it is true I was invested here in 2009, and many other silent watchers here have also been in a long long time, longer than me. Schofield, yes, he did actually say that about "very near" future...maybe they've been told that Oxus' case is next on the list as the Arbiters plough through their case load. Good luck all

for the chat...much appreciated. They really do watch this Board all the time - and specifically asked if I was Pettycash (as they're my Number One Un-fans apparently), er, which I denied...but then 'fessed up to at the end, as I wouldn't be able to write here if I'd lied about that. A also asked Richard W if he wanted any of the conversation not to be reported, but he said it was fine.. Had a good 15 minute chat, and basically they said "very near" for a reason..ie they are led to believe specifically it is days or weeks, and are waiting day to day for the "imminent" decision. He seems quite a straight bloke and get a bit p*8**d off at all these Boards (they are at me), but I did say they are open to debate and discussion of all matters - especially filling voids of news etc, although he thought they sometimes got personal and insulting (as they do). I think they also find some entertaining bits on the evolving anthropology of human kind We then had a slightly surreal conversation about the semantics of the word "very" which I won't go into, but I think BlackAdder IV could be in the making ;o) All in all, a good short chit chat, (about Arbiters, the wait, process, message boards) and they're waiting for something any day now..however, such is the legal process etc they are as frustrated as us with the delay. Mr Wily (that's Wily) Wilkins and Canny Captain Shead (is that better than Sarcy Santa?) ;o) Thanks for the time Ps I get a feeling they do not know the result as , as he said , all these arbiters are in different parts of Europe and so it takes ages to sort things, as they all have other cases. They are waiting, as we are. I'm not sure if I'm filled with more confidence or not - the same really - as he said we're all in the same boat as regards potentially making or losing lots of money. "Patients!?" ... are Oxus selling health equipment now? It'd probably be a machine that keeps you on life support for a "very" long time...or a pill that cures you in the "very near future"...ie when you're dead ! Iceberg - with all respect...the use of a term like "very" is an absolute. It means little difference if the context/profession is different. You start barking up that ree and all sorts of words can mean different things. Any right thinking person would see the use of "very near" as being days of weeks - even if you use your own logic, the case since the Arbitors met, has been 19 months, so even in that context, if you believe your logic, then it should mean a month or so. But "very near" means just that - imminent. That's the meaning. Two , 3 or 4 months etc just means he may as well not have said it. I don't think he should have said it - why did he feel the need to do that (even if he did feel the result was imminent?)...but it wasn't imminent was it? If Alex Ferguson (after 15 years at Man Utd) had said he was buying a player in the very near future , that wouldn't mean 3 months. If you were going on holiday in the very near future, it wouldn't mean February (despite you being on planet earth 40 years!! That timeframe prior to the statement is irrelevant. For what it's worth, I think RS was Bulling. In the past he has said he can't comment on timeframes because of secrecy clauses - but then TWICE does comment on timescales, but are both wrong. For heaven's sake if he's going to contradict himself, at least have the decency to elaborate on the timeframe... ie...If he said "My lawyers have led me to believe that we are withing 8 weeks of result"...what would be worng with that? It's specific and has clarity. Would that breach any confidentiality clauses - more so that "very near"
