@Theborn: thank you, my question was rather, if in case of the hostile offer, the share holder is forced to sell his share in the company, or if the shares are somehow converted and is a chance that they would increase their value in future?
Meaning whether the strategy "keep holding at any cost" make sence in such a case...?

Question: if the company becomes the take over target, what options do the retail investors have to avoid their losses?
E.g. if my average on 11000 shares is 2.9 pound / share, but as the hostile offer would be e.g. 2 pound per share...?
And e.g. if the book value is 3 pound / share?
How shall the retail investor proceed to not lose the money?

Very often the first market reaction is exactly the opposite one than I expect (reaction is very often non rational)
-> would not be wondering seeing the price recovery soon...

@Bigpunt: indeed, the collections performance and increasing number of the customers is as well the key
(for this, some targeted KPIs from the management would be very well appreciated)

@Bigpunt: Today the environment is so complex, that it is hard to predict and from my point of view no one is able to predict with high probability what happens.
=> although it is not a nice view looking on the current share price move, I am sitting long and not selling...
None of the bear markets lasts forever, no one knows what happens even tomorrow and which catalyst might come.
Regarding the price of this share - from my POV this might take more than 1 year to recover as there is stated that the increased central cost are to be expected as well in S2 2022 before they are supposed to be decreased in 2023 and that it shall lead to efficiencies. -> if this is not confirmed, this would be the last nail into this coffin...

I still see the biggest issue in the last ER in the central cost of 30 mios.
(without those, it could have been nice beat...?)
If there was a solid explanation how those 30 mios can contribute to the larger gains in future, the earnings would have been perceived much better...

Theborn, I share your frustration. Not sure, what we, as retail investors can do about the situation. I would expect the largest shareholders to raise these questions to the management...? May be those largest shareholders are still convinced about the executive management strategy?

In fact, the H1 results are deteriorated by 2 factors:
1/ central cost -> I miss better explanation what is behind -> 30 mio
2/ CCD closure cost (I did not expect them) -> 10 mio
3/ personal loan loss
With the central cost on the level of last year and without CCD closure cost, acc. to my calculation the EPS for S1 2022 would be 0.37, which might lead to 0.8 for whole year 2022.
With conservative PE 8 tis shall lead to share price 6,4.
=> the key is to eliminate the mentioned 3 negative factors ASAP, as the credit cards and vehicle finance seems to be more and more profitable (question is if it is not caused by some shifted efforts to the central cost)
I am long here and still believe in the share price recovery to 5+
