I think a reduction in spending probably helped that. CEO sounded very bullish on LYT100 and KarXt approval date is less than a month away now. I think that will be the real catalyst

Really interesting to hear Segun talking about the covenants falling away once the debt is repaid. He mentions shareholders returns. Last debt payment is in Dec, could we be looking at buybacks or Dividends from that point. I know Segun holds a sizeable chunk, I'm sure he wouldn't mind a nice Divi.

How did you go about getting the difference back from Interactive Investor and HL? I've complained to AJ Bell now, I have a few different accounts with them, and they refunded the full withholding tax in one account but only half in others. It's bizarre. I've officially complained and will be referring the matter to the FOS if they don't get their s*** together.

Hmm...I'm not sure that's correct re tax. Withholding tax is only liable on dividends, not sale. That's my understanding anyway

There's a huge part of me that thinks BMS wouldn't pay $14bn for Karuna if they weren't supremely confident in KarXT, I'm using the due diligence that BMS must have done before buying as my base plate for adding.

Evaluate which estimates drug sales reckon that KarXT is their no. 1 drug of 2024. Est. Sales of $2.8bn by 2028. Anything above $2bn is good news for PRTC.

Less than 2 months now for the PDUFA date from the FDA...maybe taking more risk on buying beforehand but I like the risk reward here.

Thanks for that. I found the RNS but it doesn't really spell out what the milestones are to obtain the $400m, or over what time period. I'm guessing the FDA approval, if we call it that, in September could be one of them.

Presumably BMS will, at some point, get a handle on possible sales for KarXT, and could potentially buy put PRTC if paying those royalties doesn't make financial sense.

How does the $400m from Royalty Pharma work? How is it paid, over what period? I re read the pitch deck yesterday (I tend to do this with a falling sp) and there is a huge amount of newsflash due this year.

Do you honestly believe that the Tender offer will be under subscribed? That's the only way a Spec Divi gets paid. I personally can't see that happening. The Instiutions hold millions of shares, even Daphne has nearly 10m. The Tender isn't designed for us retail investors, it's designed for the insiders and the institutions. My personal opinion is it is massively oversubscribed and no special div.

Yes. As the Tender is classed as a distribution, and as the company is registered in the US, is liable for withholding tax on the GROSS sale.

I was thinking about this - are UK domiciled Institutional investors liable for withholding tax? If so, other than for the liquidity event, surely it wouldn't be beneficial to tender their shares given the tax is on GROSS sales

Because the Tender is treated as a Dividend, which are liable for Withholding tax.

Anyone have any educated guesses on how the insti's mate handle the tender? Just trying to work out how many shares might be getting tendered and what the allocations make look like. The mention of a Special Dividend, makes me think that management believe there's a possibility the tender isn't fully subscribed. Although, could be a total red herring.

Hardly, they've explained why and produced over 8000 in March. They've reiterated year end targets and stated AISC will remain in the stated range of 1100-1200. Nothing to complain about here.
