Singtel partnership launched in Singapore

MelodyVR Group PLC (AIM:MVR), a leading music company and operator of the MelodyVR and Napster platforms, is pleased to announce that, following its announcement of 23 December 2020, on 5 February 2021 the Company's exclusive 5G music partnership successfully launched in Singapore with The Singtel Group ("Singtel").

MelodyVR is now offered as the exclusive 5G music partner to new and upgrading 5G Singtel customers who will now have access to a richer mobile experience with access to MelodyVR's immersive music library. Singtel has 4.3 million mobile customers in Singapore representing more than a 50% market share and is Asia's leading communications technology company boasting more than 700 million mobile customers in 21 countries.

VR has been slow to take off but the Quest and Facebook figures show just how things are hotting up.

Before the Napster acquisition we were relying mainly on LiveNation to help us sell. Whilst Im sure that partnership will flourish as gigs return and we start selling tickets to sold out concerts, we now have an additional five million plus of our OWN customers to sell tickets to.

As they start rolling out the new app alongside announcements of more Singtel type deals with tickets on sale for bigger acts the effect on revenues and the SP will be exponetial. The journey is literally only just beginning!!!!!
