G.P I agree with your summing up of the two companies and their main players.
Both Steven and Sachin are city boys, and not used to the cut and thrust of running a business. For all we know they have perhaps been 'sold a puppy' over the placings and massive investment in Rathlin.
The acid test for me will be if West Newton is put on the 'back burner' and the Victory field become the prominent play. After all the time and monies spent on West Newton, it has for me at any rate become Reabold Resources.

Not bitter about UJO at all, in fact it has in my opinion a better chance of providing a return to share holders now than RBD, but it still just that...a chance.

AJW...the only donkey if seen, will be one borrowed from RBD and referred to as dee mule.

In essence it was if D.B has been tipped off some time ago by RBD directors, and I'm hypothesizing here, it could be along the lines of........
'Hi David it's Steven here, just to forewarn you that I have just received a confidential preliminary report from Rathlin, who as you know we have majority control over. Things are not looking as good as we would have hoped for. We will not then be releasing an RNS about West Newton in the near future for obvious reasons. I thought you should be aware, as it may help you with decisions you may be contemplating in other projects.

Perhaps a possibility? stranger things have happened.

by our partner in West Newton recently announced raising £3M for ongoing projects; significantly there is no mention of West Newton in relating to where the monies will be allocated. Investors will draw their own conclusions as to the timing of this seemingly hurried placing by our partner in this venture, and given that the funds presently in UJO's accounts appear quite healthy. The question remains, does David Bramhill have an insight into what is really going on at West Newton before news is released to the public by RBD? and if so that could be a reason for the delaying of news on W.N by RBD.

You are wrong about Geothermal energy production. Even Reabold Resources joint partner in Parta Romania are linking up with huge German company Siemens (gb) to develop plant in Austria. Burying your head in the sand ostrich like as usual will not stop progress.

I totally agree for once....the future of energy is by Geothermal production of electricity. Many, both large and smaller companies see this, and vast amounts of R&D expenditure are now being allocated to this venture. I am no Greenie but this is the way forward in the medium to long term. It will not happen overnight however, and those that are producing gas and oil will be ok for years to come. But, and it's a big but, fields like West Newton still in the embryo stage, and not likely to see any production in the next 5 years will likely see events overtake them. A fire sale would be my best guess regarding an outcome there.
