We know now from the Rathlin accounts released today that West Newton urgently needs a cash injection.
We also know that the easiest ways to raise the capital needed to keep it afloat is via cash injected from the sale of Victory (if that transpires}, a return to the market by a share issue, or a funding via a j/v third party. It could be one or a mixture.
My guess is whatever route is taken, it will not be long in coming. Many of Reabold Resources financial problems that have been put on the back burner for months and some for years are climaxing in the next few days and weeks. Exciting times for all

Heid, Stephen and Sachin and City guys. The operate in a 'me me me' environment where investors are looked upon as a necessary evil. If as you say you once worked in banking you will know that. But never try to make out the directors of any company are actually concerned about their shareholders, unless of course they threaten the directors livelihoods by withdrawing financing.

Itsawrap.......I think any news on that front will come via a RBD RNS. Given the parlous state that Rathlin will most likely be in by now (remember those figures were correct as of almost 8 months ago). If you extrapolate the loss on a like by like basis the cash now will be closing in on zero in the next couple of months. That's why I am convinced much of any Victory proceeds will be advanced to Rathlin, along with the usual pronouncement and mention of adding to other 'assets' if they come along. Monies that are unallocated at present (how convenient). I wonder if Danube Petroleum and and Parta will be mentioned. It's a long long time since we heard about that transformational asset!

Oh lol a million times. Lenin if you think that Sachin and Stephen are running the business to make you money you are on a different planet. You and other investors large and small {at times an uncomfortable necessity} are just a conduit supplying the fuel (investment) for them to achieve THEIR aims.
For you Lenin, to attempt to draw an analogy between an Oil and Gas Exploration company and a property someone lives in just exaggerates the reason why TF was warning you about 'swimming before you can even paddle'!

itsawrap......I have feeling we will be inundated shortly with RNS's about numerous RBD 'assets'. Perhaps a sop from California thrown onto the good news tray, to counter balance the not so good?

Anyone heard what is happening in Romania over the last year. The silence on Parta makes one wonder if that is another 'dead duck' or whether the begging bowl from our company Danube Petroleum will also be out for funds from Victory, as well as Rathlin.

I wonder whether Uncle Dave will think that a further investment in West Newton is worth a punt, when Reabold come knocking at the door within the next few weeks. Or perhaps we will never know.

Looks to me like the first RNS will be to do with Rathlin. I'm expecting their results to be in the public domain by next week at this time. The groundwork will be set then for investors to understand why there will be no dividend. The monies received for the sale of Victory will be used to finance further development of West Newton 'and other 'assets'; they usually throw that statement in for more obfuscation. I'm afraid those looking towards a financial payback will be disappointed. For those who are completely hooked this type of pronouncement will be more acceptable than a 20 or30 quid average dividend, and the dynamic duo know this. So there you have it. No divi but a promise of transformational assets coming up trumps over the next few years via the investment that Victory provides.

TBF....re annuals, they have to be released by October 1st at the latest by law. So 6 weeks maximum.
