In reply to deemule.....all that appears to be negative at first glance sometimes isn't. But if as it appears they are sells, then maybe a large II has got wind of what is happening with Victory, and is dumping stock. Conversely it could also be a 'sprat to catch a mackerel'; this is AIM remember.

deemule.......total rubbish, no one knows the price in 2023 never mind 2024 or more likely 2025 when first gas possibly due from Victory. Most oil and gas analysts are expecting the gas price to be only a fraction of what it is today in 2 years time and even sooner if war is settled in the Ukraine. Just 'wishful thinking' by someone who is up to the neck in RBD stock.

Smythery, nice ramp, but you have omitted either by accident or design one pertinent fact.
The longer matters are dragged out (whatever the final outcome) the more financially beneficial it is to the directors.
As everyone knows the dynamic duo are masters of the art of treating shareholders like mushrooms.

I do not think there is a chance of a deal falling through being announced. They will keep 'imaginary' talks going for a few more months to do what they are best at........time wasting whilst accruing huge salary's.

Truth, that is because some have invested more than they really should have done and are well under water. Obviously the track record business failure to date of the directors does not instil confidence.

VHB obviously likes ambiguity. Most shareholders don't. So in my mind VHB is either a company stooge or a punter who is a captive audience brain washed by the two directors. The second one is my guess, who will see no wrong in them whatever transpires. Reminds me of the German brown shirts.

My take on the drop in price is that many now realise that there is not going to be a dividend whatever happens. It just ain't going to happen folks. So many of those still in profit are selling and those still heavily underwater are hoping that West Newton when it eventually is drilled in a few years time will give them release. They will agree with whatever crumbs of comfort are dished out by the dynamic duo.
In the meantime day to day trading may provide some profits for those without a nervous disposition.

VHB......I fail to understand your use of the word 'competent' in relation to a business, namely RBD, which has spent tens of millions of pounds over a 5 year period on a number of their self acclaimed 'assets' without a single penny being returned to its shareholders. Now, I see it is in bed with a US company who have failed to raise a single dime for its shareholders in over 50 (yes fifty years of trading). I suppose on that basis you would call them extremely competent.

True....the wording means everything. Investors should read RBD statements a few times and inwardly digest. A prime example is my earlier post regarding West Newton Conceptual Plan. One may enquire as to where the funding will be coming from. Some may say (not Selfish and deemule obviously), well of course it will be from the proceeds of the Victory sale.
Remember these City guys are wordsmiths and masters of the dark arts of obfuscation, and can sell sand to the arabs (aka unsuspecting newbies).
