Heid, no need to bang on about electric/gas supplies being cut back.
I can remember in the 1970's when the country was in the grip of the Unions.
Strikes where everywhere (could history be repeating itself here?). Council workers on strike, bodies not being buried/cremated, dustbins not emptied for weeks and weeks, infestation of rats. There was a 3 day working week for industry, electric cuts became a way of life.
And guess what....we are still living, we just got on with it.
I know it's a bit different now, where society is full of wimps and left wingers. More interested in inclusiveness LGBT and pronoun rubbish. If one snowflake lands in Southern England it's a national disaster.
What I am saying is all this was nothing to do with a shortage of resources and we have seen it before. All will be well for most, other than the liver lilied wokes amongst the population, who moan about nothing.
